Great Product, Just Seems Overpriced
Purchased these to make adjusting the front wheel of our son's Pinewood Derby Car easier. They work extremely well, but they seem to be very expensive for a pair of specialty pliers.Do they make adjusting the front wheel easier for rail-riding? Absolutely. But they shouldn't be $30. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Must have tool
This really makes a huge difference working with pinewood derby axles. After many times using different hammers and brute force, this tool makes it a snap to insert into the wood at exactly the right gap. Easily insert and extract as needed. Wish it had other uses because it's rather pricey. But if you need it, you need it.

Must have tool!
This a must have tool for anyone build derby cars with nail axles. The pliers make it easier to install and remove the axles. I would recommend purchasing these. Very useful tool.

Not that easy to use
Okay but was not easy to use Have to be very careful using this tool so not to cause any damage to the axle head

Honestly did not like them
I get the idea of a plier that is form shaped to fit the axle, but I just didnt like them, and ended up just using normal hobby needle nose pliers. I have a 1st grader, and another in kindergarten so I argued to myself I would get years of use out of them to offset the cost. Hated them. Sorry, I wanted to like them, I wanted to support a small business.

Great tool for axle removal and steering adjustment. No body/wheel spacing capability.
This is a good quality tool and is a good addition to the tool box. My only wish is that it had a built-in body-to-wheel spacing feature. Still need a separate tool for that. I have a smaller and less expensive tool that removes and/or inserts axles with proper spacing but, as mentioned, it is significantly smaller and a bit difficult for large hands like mine. This new tool is, however, a must-have for “clocking” axles for steering adjustments. Nice tool. I am keeping it.

Good enough
It worked ok. It still marred the axel head, but not as much as with regular pliers. I still couldn't get the wheel in far enough to my liking, but does the job.
