Absolutely Incredible! If Tampax is a latex bodysuit, these are the softest pillow.
I don’t feel them inside at all, unlike Tampax, which is always there, probably because of the polyester string and that weird other fabric covering the cotton inside, while these are perfect: 100% cotton, even the string, they are made like the European tampons, not the most modern applicator, but I have nothing against it, what matters is what’s inside: pure comfort. The downside is that since these are truly cotton only they might last less during heavy flow, but at least they use their full potential when absorbing, unlike Tampaxes that absorb halfway through and then stop, even though there is still some potential inside… at least that’s what it feels like. I’d say that Tamoaxes are still fine for a long sleep during the heaviest flow not to worry, but from the 3rd day on these are absolutely fantastic, you can truly feel the difference. If Tampax feels like a synthetic fabric on the skin, these feel like nothing at first, and like the softest pillow later on, and yes, I wrote this whole thing myself now because of how grateful I feel that this softness exists.

Comfortable and great quality
These are comfortable and I love how I don’t have to worry about additional chemicals and it’s a natural product. I’ve also noticed I don’t get cramps like I do if I use non-organic tampons. I buy at my local store now I have never had an issue with the strings coming detached. These are made well, good quality, and it’s a nice piece of mind, knowing that they are organic cotton. Not including a photo because that’s gross

These are the only tampons I will use, I just wish they came in a size my teen could use too
I've been using these tampons for 10 years. When I switched to these I noticed a big improvement in the severity of my cramps. I have on occasion had some issues with the applicator not sliding as easily as I would like, but on the whole they work great, and I feel better knowing I'm not putting the garbage that's in regular tampons in the most intimate part of my body. I don't flush any part of these so I can't speak to their flushability, but as a general rule I would stay away from flushing feminine products. I only wish they came in a slim/teen size for my 14 y.o. daughter. The regulars are still to big for her to use comfortably, nor is her flow heavy enough for them. I don't remember what they were called, but I know I used a tampax brand tampon marketed for teens with a cardboard applicator when I was a teenager, maybe that's why cardboard applicators have always been my preferred style. Organyc please start making these for teens!

Cardboard Applicator. Organic Cotton is a plus though
Cardboard... it works fine for what it is. I missed that detail and thought it was plastic. But otherwise they did work perfectly well for me

I wish I had discovered these YEARS ago!
I wanted to use these for a few menstrual cycles before I wrote my review so I could really give them a good test and using more than just one box for comparison. I had read the reviews about the punch hole in the cardboard applicators being a problem and the tubes being hard to push up once inserted. I am in my late 30's and have used Tampax brand tampons with the cardboard applicator exclusively since I was 16. First, the cardboard tubes are thicker than the Tampax ones which means you can really grip them tightly and not worry about crushing anything. There is, indeed, a punch hole in each tube that goes through both cardboard tubes (the outer one and the inner one that pushes the actual tampon out of the applicator) BUT I listened to a previous reviewer and I pushed the tampon out just enough to get beyond the hole but NOT enough to where the tampon is coming out over the cardboard that opens up and out around the top of the tampon. The top of the cardboard applicator has, for lack of a better description, petals like a flower that come up and over the top of the tampon. If you push the applicator up just a little bit to allow that punch hole to be gotten past the petals do not open up. I have not had any issues with inserting these tampons, the applicator getting stuck, or them hurting. I have noticed a DRASTIC decrease in my cramps since changing to these tampons. I love the peace of mind knowing that these are organic and my body is no longer getting the toxins put it in from the Tampax tampons. How I wish I would have discovered these YEARS ago! I flush the entire tampon, applicator, and wrapper and have had no issues with that. I have not had any leakage issues and the tampons are as easy to remove as the Tampax ones. I highly recommend these tampons to anyone. It is well worth the price and once you realize you can really grab on to the applicator and you get past that little punch in the cardboard you are good to go.

Applicator
The absorbency for these is great but the applicator makes it difficult to insert the tampon. Some of applicators have arrived damaged as well. My only issue with this product is the applicator.

Works as intended
Only thing I would even consider using for my cycle. Been using these for over a year.

Bad product
Honestly I like never leave 1 star reviews but this product is SO BAD😭 First of all It is next to impossible to insert properly because there is nothing on the applicator to hold on to so you can insert the tampon. I honestly probably had to throw away half the tampons in this box because I couldn’t get the actual tampon out of the applicator when it was inserted. Secondly, IF you are able to get it properly inserted just know it will be uncomfortable as hell, they are hard as a rock and stay hard, doesn’t absorb much at all and the minute you sit down to pee it will literally just fall out half the time. They are super long and skinny, and like I mentioned, they don’t absorb and soften up much so for me they were borderline painful for me to wear.

Awesome product but difficult to insert. There is no grip on the cardboard applicator, I hurt myself when I try to insert it further by pushing on the smaller tube. I always end up removing the stuck applicator and pushing it manually... I will still buy because it's hard to find a pure list of ingredients like that with good absorbency!

Finally I find a tampon made of 100% organic cotton and without chemicals added, with a cardboard applicator and a paper wrapping!! Everything compostable :) The absorption is fantastic and they are comfy and very quick to insert. For those reviews that say the applicator is difficult, use two hands: hold in place by the rings with one hand and push the other end gently with the other hand. It’s very easy and quick. Will buy more! THANK U!

I have tried multiple different types and on the long term, there is some kind of discomfort at some point because of the materials, chemicals, organic cotton ONLY on top and plastic in the rest. These are the only ones no irritating anything in long term use!!

absolutely not possible to use applicator. only without any. applicator is made of slippery carton material and not comfortable to handle at all
