They have some sort of wetting solution on them that is also a silicone or slippery-type of liquid, and they don't sting or hurt your skin at all. It says on the container that they work 30% better than toilet paper, I'd say it's 100% better! My mom is in a nursing home right now, and goes on a bedpan frequently, and when she didn't have these wipes, the nurses used regular toilet paper to clean her afterwards, which left her sensitive and thinning skin with redness, irritation and itching. These wipes are a miracle for her. The nurses have told other patient's families and these wipes are popping up in all the other rooms now too. They are trying to get it approved as a covered supply for their patients.My daughter who is 8 has bowel troubles, and frequently has loose and acidic stools, and when she was at school, would have a terrible time trying to clean herself. She know keeps a pack in her locker and it's made a huge difference in her school bathroom time. Before the wipes, she couldn't always get clean enough and we would struggle with soreness, redness and rashes every night, despite her daily bath.I used them too, and they are especially helpful during my monthly period, because when you are at work you can have break-through bleeding, and when I go to the bathroom to clean up, these wipes are very handy, and then can get flushed after I am done cleaning.We order these wipes once or twice a month, and there is a packet of them in every bathroom, in my purse, my daughter's backpack, and in both cars. They are fabulous!

These are great wipes, we use them not just for the obvious bottom wiping, but really they can be used as a general purpose wipes. They work well for kiddos with sensitive skin. They don't dry out fast and and the plastic cover/cap on the wipes are easier to use than the ones that just stick over.

Many people are disappointed about the updated version in which the sheets are a bit smaller and some say it tears more easily. I have been purchasing the older version for quite some time and am happy with that but I must say that this updated version is better. Although the sheets are a bit smaller, I feel that the size is perfect and makes it not wasteful. I recently saw on the news that sewage companies have been complaining about these so called "flushable" wipes clogging up the sewage system so it is possible that Pampers had to make the sheets a bit thinner so it doesn't back up the sewage system. For that matter maybe most of the wipes will eventually have to be thinner or "weaker" in some way. These wipes need to break apart in water and when I tested the old wipes, it did not do that too well but these newer ones seem to break apart more easily. I did not notice these new sheets being any thinner but I do remember the old version being very thick which is why many people like the old version. I like these new wipes just as much as the old ones and if being a bit thinner is what it takes to keep these wipes coming and not have it banned for clogging up sewage systems, then I am all for that. I always have these in my bathroom and like them a lot! I've tried some other brands but the price of these on Amazon is great.

I love these wipes! I decided to go for these wipes ever since there was a recall on the cottonelle wet wipes. As a female since they were fragrant I only used them for the back region. These Kandoo wipes I can use them to wipe from front to back. They don’t have a scent, they don’t irritate my body chemistry, they are sturdy (no more wipes breaking in pieces as I’m trying to pull them out of their package for usage) they are compact so I bring them to work with me everyday. It may be for kids but great for adults.
