Title is deceiving!!
I watched Michael's interview about a week ago on YouTube and I liked the stories he shared. I got this book in hope to learn something new in regards to negotiation but there wasn't really much. This is more of a basic business tips book for beginners who got no idea how to deal with business.I thought that I would learn some new strategies in dealing with people when it comes to negotiation but nothing much here. I like the quotes and personal stories Michael shares and I will buy his autobiography but I wouldn't recommend this book if you are looking into negotiation. There many other great books on negotiation and getting people to agree with you.

Advice a wise Uncle would give you
Very nice book on surviving the Corporate Jungle. Agrees with my two years in Accounting and Forecasting and two years in R&D and five years in Engineering. If I knew some of the stuff "way back then" I'd have gone a lot further than I have so far.The chapter on "Sit Downs" is wonderful. Do your homework, shut your mouth and wait for /inspire your enemy to trip up. More detail than that but I have covered the essential points. The advice for Sit Downs makes the book for me, as we do a lot of Sit Downs in Industry. Lots and lots of 'em. I realize now how I've messed up in the past. I will be using this advice the day after tomorrow at work.I have to admit - I never thought I'd see an Author quote Biblical Proverbs of Solomon and Machiavelli in equal measure!!Thank you for the good advice Mr. Franzese! I'll make it work.

It's okay... Read once.
Read it once. It's important to understand mob thinking and also honesty is important when a former mob boss says it. The book is filled with interesting anecdotes, but it's mostly broad strokes.

What you need to hear
Michael doesn't tell you what you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear. And whilst you've probably heard a lot of the core message before the context of who is telling the story is one of the things that makes it so impactful. It's a 'sit-down' with the author as you read the words

Brilliant Captivating read
Really enjoyed this book. I consider myself a Christian and have been spending a lot of time recently reading about machiavellian principles in 48 laws and 50th Law but to see Solomons words compared shows me that I am running my business the right way and will continue to do so. Michael is a great writer and it's a blessing to see him passing on this knowledge.

Relaxing read
Decent read. Nothing fancy, and, the Author goes out on a limb for the reader. Instilling a few things to apply to one's life. I can say, for those who want a highly technical or super informative or intellectually stimulating book, look elsewhere. But for those basic folks like myself, who are a bit afraid in this world, it can help steer one's life, and to show that basic humanity is found by not stereotyping.

UNBELIEVABLE
This was an awesome book. The best businessman's book to cut out the BS. Works even better when accompanied with "Never Split The Difference" by Chris Voss. Combined and you will be unstoppable.
