Good book for beginners, lots of good crafting ideas. Perfect for scouts and cub scouts

My son likes this book. He likes to make everything paracord

Nice layout and illustrations to follow. Good beginnings for me. The tools required would be nice perhaps being shown in the description with the book would be nice. Not necessary though. Now to get busy and enjoy a new hobby.

Since I received this, I've perused it several time, and have to admit, that while the instructions are fairly good, it does appear to be difficult to be able to make most of the items without having 3 sets of hands. I'm one who doesn't like something to beat me, so I'll probably prevail and succeed in the end, and probably purchase some of the tools that are recommended in the book. I do wish that there was a chart that showed how much para-cord (lengthwise) is needed for different sizes of the projects, like bracelets, necklaces, key holders, lanyards, etc. I'd hate to waste paracord, by coming up short and having to re-evaluate what size I need, that find something to use the short piece for. If I over estimate the length, I end up with the same problem of having to cut off the extra, and hope it's lone enough to still be usable, instead of scrap.

For some reason I thought this would be a comprehensive Paracord project book. It is not. It gives one basic example of each type (bracelet, strap, etc). It is so thin it looks like a coffee table book. If you are trying to do Paracord projects this is not the book. You are better off watching YouTube.

this book is very detailed with the information on how to create each project. The beginning of the book describes all of the tools you'll need as well. This is a great book for beginners wanting to get into the paracord wrapping. This book is wonderful on giving step by step directions, with lots of pictures to complete the task. Great for me just starting out, learning!

I'm new to the paracord world and have made about 100 bracelets and other things now. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and some of the projects are very interesting, some not so. If you are new to paracord projects, this is a good start.
