NintendoGameCube Controller Adapter (Nintendo Switch) JAPAN Import without English Manual

This adapter is the official adapter from Nintendo. It is not produced anywhere so it is not sold in any stores like Best Buy or Gamestop. This is the only way to get it. Very good for connecting gamecube controllers to your switch. It also serves as a great adapter to use for your laptop/computer if you want to play Super Smash Melee on Slippi launcher. There is a firmware patch that can be applied to allow it to be used with the computer. Other 3rd party adapters have firmware patches as well, but you may need to search harder to find them and also make sure to apply the correct patch to your adapter or you risk making it not work.

When it comes to accessories like this, I always aim to get first party/official ones as opposed to third party versions. I saw some alternatives from various sellers/third parties and even though some have good reviews, part of me feels like going with the official versions would be best. Finding one can be tricky since these gamecube controller adapters have always been, and still are, popular and in demand. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this one. Even though it's a Japanese import, it still works regardless of what region your Switch is for, which I very much appreciate. I've been using this adapter for a while now and it still has not given me any issues at all. It works flawlessly with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and feels sturdy. With how high in demand these can be, I'm confident this will continue to work for me for a very long time so I won't have a need to purchase a new one.

This is an authentic first party GameCube controller adapter for Nintendo Switch and it also works on Wii U as well. There is no region lock to use this in the US. Highly recommend.

Product itself is fully functional official OEM Japanese import of the Nintendo GameCube adapter. Although it is in great condition it’s clear this was opened prior to me receiving it. No Black twisty cable tie was present and visual signs of wear on the gamecube controller ports. Overall I am happy with the product and won’t be returning but my preference, obviously, would be for a brand new product or for it to be clearly indicated it was open box/used before purchase. Also, should be noted that animal hair was found on the sticker attached to the outside of the box as well as on the interior of the foam protecting pad. I’m thinking cat?? Not the most appealing thing to deal with during an unboxing.
