Before I bought this adapter from a generic brand, it broke very fast. But now I have been using this adapter for like two years, and it is like new.

The Best Adapter to Get
When it comes to accessories like this, I always aim to get first party/official ones as opposed to third party versions. I saw some alternatives from various sellers/third parties and even though some have good reviews, part of me feels like going with the official versions would be best. Finding one can be tricky since these gamecube controller adapters have always been, and still are, popular and in demand. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this one. Even though it's a Japanese import, it still works regardless of what region your Switch is for, which I very much appreciate. I've been using this adapter for a while now and it still has not given me any issues at all. It works flawlessly with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and feels sturdy. With how high in demand these can be, I'm confident this will continue to work for me for a very long time so I won't have a need to purchase a new one.

Just What I Needed
This adapter gets the job done. I’m sure other 3rd party adapters work just fine, but I don't take risks when it comes to the Nintendo brand. The make is solid, the chord’s plenty long (but not ridiculously long) and it looks great right next to my Switch. An all-around amazing product. Also, be sure to buy the Japanese import, as its the exact same product and a lot cheaper.
