Fantastic! Fits LG WM3370HWA
When I saw water leaking out from under my LG washing machine, I was riddled with anxiety. Yet another costly repair in an unending series of issues related to home ownership. But instead of immediately calling the repair guy and spending hundreds of dollars on a repair, I googled around, opened up the top of the machine and saw that this is an insanely common issue with these front load LG washers (LG WM3370HWA). I watched about 10 youtube videos on replacing this part and found it here on Amazon for $26. I ordered it, it came early the next morning, I braced myself and started my attempt to repair (sure that I would screw it up). Incredibly, I was able to remove and replace the part and put everything back together in under 30 minutes! I saved a ton of money, accomplished something, and gave myself a nice little boost of confidence! If you can use a screw driver and have enough strength to move the washing machine away from the wall, you too can do this! My machine is running great and the leak is gone! Highly recommend you try this before hiring a repairman or buying a new machine.

Great product and VERY easy to replace
Worked like a charm. Amazon thank you for offering products like this. With prime I was able to get the part and have the washer fixed before the weekend (laundry time). This is super easy to replace yourself. There are some good YouTube videos on this and all you need are basic tools. If you are getting water under your washer this is most likely the cause. LG website will say it is soap build up, but if you are using He detergent that is probably not the case. Once you slide the top of the washer off (see YouTube video) you can tell within minutes of this is the part that is leaking. My washer was only 3 years old when the original part started leaking. Saved myself hundreds by repairing myself. As I mentioned before - it is very easy to replace and this part has held up well. No more leaks.

Simple install (from the top of the machine) and so far, so great
VERY economical buy and superior fit into our LG TROMM washer unit. This was a refresh of the module on a 18 year old unit. It's best to replace hot AND cold while you're in the machine. Works great.

OEM Replacement Part Works Perfectly!
My LG WM2455HG front loader was giving an "FE" Error Code whenever I would run a wash cycle of more than 20-30 minutes (aka Speed Wash). I researched the Error Code, and determined it could either be the Inlet Valves or the Water Level Sensor or the Sensor's Air Hose (If that hose is clogged with anything or torn open, it could artificially cause the same "FE" Error Code). After further research it seemed to me that my machine was having an issue with the inlet valves due to high water pressure. My water level sensor's air hose was clean and free of debris, and it wasn't torn or cracked anywhere. So I decided to focus on the Inlet Valves. I ran a long wash cycle with just the cold water, and determined that the "FE" code would still interrupt the wash cycle. So this led me to believe it was the Cold Water Inlet Valve. My original Hot Water Inlet Valve wasn't defective, but I decided to replace it at the same time as the Cold Water Inlet Valve was defective. I noticed the parts were exactly the same with exception to the filter screen located inside the threaded opening. The original part had a mesh steel screen with a rather large mesh opening compared to the new part that came with a plastic filter screen with much smaller holes in it. My water lines have relatively high water pressure (100-105psi) and I don't have a Water Pressure Reducing Valve on my main water line, so I believe this is what led to the premature demise of the Cold Water Inlet Valve. The smaller filter screen holes on the new inlet valves should also help reduce the incoming water pressure to a safer limit if you have high water pressure. Hopefully this small design change will increase the lifespan of the water inlet valves!

Easy, inexpensive fix to what seems to be a common issue
I noticed our washing machine was continuously filling with water and then draining. This process went on for hours before I noticed. When I went to the machine it had the error code "FE" (overflow error) on it. I turned it off, drained it, reset it, and tried to run the cycle again. It began doing the same thing, but this time it gave me the error code "FI" (Inlet error - not filling up with enough water). Did some quick research and found the issue was likely the cold water inlet valve was shot. I had the same exact, or very similar issue 5 years ago, and I bought a replacement cold water inlet value. I bought the machine in 2012, so it seems this part has a maximum lifespan of about 5-7 years. I'm on my 3rd one. This is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, because they don't seem to last too long. Fortunately, it is a very easy fix, and relatively inexpensive as I'm sure an appliance repairman would have charged us hundreds of dollars to fix this.

Ordered to replace the cold water pump on my LG washer. Not wanting a cheap after market, I ordered this unit based on the picture ( Easy to identify an offbrand vs an OEM ) and the description stating its OEM. It is definitely made to the oem specs and style, and is branded by same oem manufacturer, so I'm as happy as one gets when having to fix a washer. 5 days in, and a lot of loads later, and it works great. I'll update as required, if it ever fails or leaks, in an unreasonable amount of time. One month update : No leaks. I can put the top back on my washer now, and go on with life.. and a dry floor.

I have owned my LG washing machine for 9 plus years and love it, but it was leaking. I didn't want to buy a new one, because this is the first issue we have had with it, so we thought we would give this a try. My husband and a friend dismantled the machines and were able to replace this part in about 30 minutes. Very happy to have my washer back. I chose the LG OEM part over the knock off because I didn't want to risk a poor fit and I am happy I did. For the record, our LG washer and dryer have both outlived the other laundry pair we have on our property and are used A LOT (it's shared with 3 other units in our rental). I will buy LG again!

I can't be sure this is a genuine LG part based on the packaging. This came from Amazona (dot)ca and all it said on the box was genuine OE part. I ordered the matching hot side valve from Amazon (dot)com and that one came in a box with the LG logo and the sticker with the part number looks proper. That being said, this part works as it should. The plastic is a different color than original, but the hot side valve was the same 🤷🏼♂️ Its not leaking anymore, so there's that.
