Off Botanicals Towelettes Wipes Natural Insect Mosquito West Nile Repellent (32 Count)

I bought these for a trip to Greece to cut down on how many liquids I needed to cram into my TSA-approved quart-sized travel bag. These wipes don't count as liquids, so you can throw them into your carry-on. Mosquitos love and find me, and I'm fairly allergic to their bites. I always carried a couple of these wipes in my messenger bag, along with water, camera, etc., on my trip and it took up no space. It gave me peace of mind that if I even felt the faintest hint that mosquitos were around, I could tear open a package and wipe this on rather inconspicuously, even in a public setting like a restaurant or outdoor cafe. Turns out, it was pretty dry and fairly windy during our trip, so I was mostly safe. The one time that i had to use it was lying in bed in our hotel room, when I heard a mosquito buzz by my ear. I tore one open without having to turn the lights on and disturb my partner, and applied everywhere. It has a fresh, herbal scent, and nothing chemically. It dries fairly quickly and to cover my entire body, I needed another towelette. I actually tucked the spent towelettes partially under each side of my pillow to get as much of the repellant effects as possible. I woke up the next morning expecting at least a few swollen bites, but I was bite-free! We actually found and smashed the mosquito that morning, and I shuddered at the size of that thing and the swelling that a bite from that bug would've caused me. I actually thought of taking a Deet-based wipe on this trip so that I could have a greater guarantee of being free of swollen bites, but now I'm glad that I took this and still have lots of it around. As a highly mosquito-attracting individual, I will always have this in my messenger bag. The bonus is that I don't need to worry about spilling a bottle of anything in my bag.

Great for areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. I have to use more than one wipe to get my entire body covered though. So I go through them pretty quickly. But overall coverage is better than the sprays.

These bug wipes are really great. They are easy to travel with and easy to apply. They do a great job protecting you from bug bites. Overall, I love them.

These are great to have on hand for unexpected situations. I keep a few in my purse and in my car. These have saved us from getting bit up many times. I think I’ve had some of these for a year and they are never dried out when I go to use them. Mosquitoes love me. My legs get feasted on. These really help.

Handy packets for your pocket. With air-travel and the limited amount of fluids you can bring onboard, these packets worked really well to have a wipe handy. I was in South Carolina in the summer, I think there were "no see-ums" little tiny bugs that bite, I whipped this out of my purse, and had some form of buffer between them and my skin! Note: There is no deet, which may or may not be a good thing. I wouldn't go trekking into the deep woods without deet.

I liked the ease of putting it on with no smell and a silky feeling. When dry you cannot tell you have anything on. What I don’t like is I have cats that rub against me when I have it on and then when they clean it is ingested which can’t be good., but this would probably apply to an kind of mosquito protection. Other than that, this is the best one comfortable to wear with no stickiness.
