The pencils I own that fit:
I got these yesterday. Tested them on every pencil I own. Here's photographs as well as written results. Caran 'd Ache Museum Aquarelle pencils do not fit. Prima "crafters brand" watercolour pencils do not fit. A "cheapie" brand bought here on Amazon called Niutop 72 do fit. (it says Raffine` Color 7100 Marco on the barrel). The more popular, quality brands of Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran 'd Ache Pablos, and Prismacolor Premier pencils all fit in this product tightly enough to use in an electric sharpener. I hope that helps someone decide on their purchase. :)

Perfect pencil extenders!
Very nice! It was hard for me to find pencil extenders that said they would work with Prismacolor pencils, but these work perfectly! The silver tip screws completely off and tightens back on over the pencil to keep it in place. I can't believe it took me so long to get these. They are wonderful! Now I don't have to waste the nubs of these expensive pencils :P

amazing
these are great! just out of curiosity, i took my poor old so short i can't even sharpen it anymore spring green prisma color and stuck it in... and it actually works! only complaint i have is that there are no instructions, but i had it figured out in a couple of seconds, so less waste there ^.^ they do work with the prismacolors, you just have to tighten it down all the way.

Good for Derwent Graphite only
It was hard to figure out if these would work for me from the reviews. So I took a chance and ordered them anyway. They work perfectly and my Derwent graphite pencils fit perfectly. They do NOT fit my Faber-Castell or Derwent intense color pencils. (They are too small in diameter for those pencils).

The threads strip out really easily, and once they do they don't hold the ...
Exactly what I wanted - a few pencil extenders that fit my regular #2 pencils and prismacolors (my charcoal pencils, which are thicker, don't fit, so I suspect polychromos won't either). A word of warning - don't twist hard, don't over-twist, and don't sharpen pencils while they're in these. The threads strip out really easily, and once they do they don't hold the pencil snugly anymore. I stripped one out, and have been more careful with the other two since. I'm just going to get a roll of teflon tape for the one I stripped, and that will hopefully solve that problem. Lastly, it would have been pretty cool if they had clips on them like a pen so I could clip them to a pocket or the cover of a notebook, but then the price might go up or something. I can do without. But they do what I need them to do, so they're a nice buy.

Brilliant idea, poorly executed
This needs a re-design, because no matter how tight it is, the pencil slips. I will probably ad a rubber or silicone band around the pencil before trying to use it again, to prevent slippage. Brilliant idea, poorly executed.

Going To Order More, Thank You!
These are awesome, they hold my Lyra Sketch Pencils, and my Prismacolor Verithin and Premiers. They were inexpensive, surprisingly lightweight (they feel hollow), the colors are nice and they shipped very fast, I recieved them like a week before the estimated arrival date. Going to order more, thank you!

Waste of $$
Save your money. Very disappointed with this as it was very difficult to tighten enough to actually use the pencil nub. Only able to use one out of the 3 as the others broke first time out of the package. The end (part that screws to hold pencil in place) came off the barrel of the holder. Great concept, very lousy construction.
