My wife got this to make a cake for my son’s birthday. This was her first time using fondant so she was nerves but the product was very easy to work with and turned out great. After she got it all on she used a kitchen torch to lightly warm the fondant which brought out the original black color

Loved this fondant. The chocolate flavor makes it taste better than regular fondant. It’s a bit softer and slightly harder to work with than regular fondant, but not a huge difference and preferred for the taste on a chocolate cake. My three year old nephew loved it on his cake! Even some adults liked it who usually pick off the fondant.

However, my recent encounter with Satin Ice ChocoPan Red Chocolate Fondant left me utterly underwhelmed and frustrated.Let's start with the positive: the taste. Undoubtedly, the flavor of this fondant is commendable, surpassing the mediocre quality often found in store-bought alternatives.Unfortunately, the novelty of superior taste quickly dissipates when confronted with the fundamental flaw of this product—its extreme delicacy. Handling this fondant feels akin to navigating a minefield; one wrong move, and it tears apart as if offended by the mere suggestion of manipulation.My years of experience were rendered futile as I struggled to work with this fragile substance. It seems Satin Ice ChocoPan Fondant interprets even the gentlest touch as an invitation to disintegrate, leaving behind a trail of frustration and wasted effort.Perhaps the most disheartening aspect is the irony of my initial intentions. In a quest to streamline my cake decorating process and spare myself from the laborious task of preparing fondant from scratch, I inadvertently stumbled upon this so-called solution, only to find it exacerbating the very issues I sought to avoid.$30.00 and time wasted!

I was a little worried when I had a big cake to do and found out that I could no longer purchase the old ChocoPan fondant. I needn’t have worried. This new version is great! I don’t notice that it is any different from the old ChocoPan fondant. It works the same and as as the picture shows, airbrushes beautifully. For those who have never used ChocoPan, the consistency is a little different. It warms and becomes soft quickly when handled because it has chocolate in it, but it is easy to apply and looks beautiful on the cake. and best of all, nothing else can beat the taste! Highly recommended!

Pay attention to description. Picture says Covering chocolate. Not chocolate fondant. As a result I thought I was ordering modeling chocolate not Fondant. Picture needs updated! Suck with $50 worth of fondant i don't want.

I used this fondant to mold an animal head and it worked out perfectly.

I ordered black chocolate fondant and received brown. Not to mention it was hard as a rock very difficult to work with and roll out and a lot of cracks because it was so dried out.
