Perfect
Installed it by the hot tub to create a little lighting to get in and out . Is absolutely perfect as not too bright that you can’t see the stars at night while in the tub. Lasts for a good 5 hours.

Disappointing.
I got this for my porch and initially was very impressed with it as it seemed to be great value for money and I was really happy with it until the other day when it was fairly cloudy. The light came on as usual at about 9.30pm but it had gone off by 11pm. This means that in the winter months which is predominantly what I wanted it for means that on cloudy days of which most are this light will come on at around 4pm and will be flat by 6pm which makes it pretty much useless as there's no facility to charge it via a usb. Another point to note is that when I read the instructions it states that the battery has an average lifespan of 2 years and being a sealed unit this essentially means that it is a disposable item with a 2 year lifespan. I would like to point out that the solar panel is on my roof and south facing just in case of any doubt that it had been positioned poorly. At the moment I would not recommend this but instead would spend a bit more and look for one with usb charging at the very least.UPDATE...... So it turns out that I didn't have to worry about it only staying on for a couple of hours or the two year battery lifespan as now it has decided to not come on at all. This has lasted less than two months in my porch which is enclosed from the elements before it has stopped working completely. I would now definitely not recommend this solar light.

didn`t last long before went out
this is a cheap and cheerful light, does not last very long once it comes on

no good for winter
this was great when I fitted in in the summer, but now its late autumn / early winter, it starts glowing very dimly at twilight, but completely worn out by about 8.30pm
