This bedding is great. It’s extremely soft and expands a lot. You get way more than what it looks like you’ll get. It has no smell which is great for hamsters. Cleans up easy and is very absorbent.

Good price, good quality, and safe for sensitive small animals.I use it in my "mouse house," and my 3 mooshkas love to dig around, stuff it in their nests, and build tunnels with this bedding. Its soft, odorless and absorbent with very low dust particles. Safer than pine and cedar wood chips/shavings which can be poisonous to mice, and softer than pellet bedding. I like the natural color more than white paper bedding.This pack of bedding is compact, but loosens up nicely and lasts a long time. Theres enough material for more than a dozen changes. Our mouse house is a 10 gallon fish tank with about 4 inches of bedding per change, 2-3 complete changes per month, and the pack lasts about 6 months.

This is the best guinea pig bedding ours is not litter trained but compared to other brands this is the only one that works to absorb best.

Looks can be deceiving. Normally I fill the base of my hamsters cage 3/4 full of her precious brand of paper bedding and maybe it would expand a little. I did that with this stuff and by the end of the week it expanded to the point where I had to dig out her wheel.Great odor control, my hamster seems to like sleeping in it, and way less dust than her old bedding. Just be careful how much you put in! Now I go about half way and by the end of the week it fills the cage only loosely.

Product was good. No smell. The color of this makes the cage look dirtier faster. Absorbs liquid well in animal cage. Only was able to use for 1 cage change

Switched to Oxbow paper bedding after trying tons of wood shavings and paper for my rats. They didn’t like the wood that a lot of rat owners swear by and the shavings wound up in my laundry which would stick to things terribly. I found that the rats would hang out on the bottom of the cage much more with this bedding, it’s soft and low dust, and I have a uti-prone rat so a white, absorbent bedding helped to see when she needed treatment. Stick it in your freezer for at least 24 hours before using to kill any potential mites that affect rodents and are invisible to the human eye. I didn’t have any issues for 2 years until one of my rats started scratching all the time, losing hair and developing tiny scabs. I stripped the cage, thoroughly cleaned everything with borax and got a kitten dose of Revolution from my vet. I’ve remembered to freeze the bedding and haven’t had issues since.

This was on sale so I decided to try it. It works as expected. It’s soft so comfortable on my rats feet. It cleans up easily but does not cover smells well. It poofs up quite a bit when wet so not easy to use and gauge how much is needed. The white color is aesthetically pleasing and the cost for the size of the bag was good. Not sure if I’d pay full price for this product but If it was on sale for a good price I’d probably buy it again even if it means having to clean more often.
