Angelina 6-Pair-Pack Girls Winter Fashion Uniform Tights

I wanted to love these. Great price and IMO kind of fun to gamble on what colors you'll receive. I received two white, two black, one grey, and one red. No pinks, so many moms would have probably been disappointed. I was okay with the colors.BUT, there were two major problems with my purchase.1.) they're HUGE. They say the M is for ages 4-6, but the tights are 27 inches long. I looked it up and the average leg length of a 4 year old is 18.5 inches long. Eve a 6 yr old averages 23 inch legs. I mean it was comical to hold them up to my daughter.2.) at some point the stitching on the foot of one of the white pair must have separated and the company repaired it with dark green thread and it's coming apart again. I'm including pictures for anyone who wants to see. This is exactly how they came out of the package.I'm returning these. I also bought the Angelina theme socks, which were also HUGE by the way. They fit me and I'm 37, not 4.What a shame.

UPDATE May 2018: We got holes in two pair as my daughter is very active on the playground. The waist did stretch out a little, and I am considering taking them in on the sides. Though I also think she has grown out of these as she is now 6 years old this month and I will have to get the next size up for fall.UPDATE Sept 2018: My daughter is too big for these now. She is in 1st grade. Also the elastic seems to have lost it's elasticity. We are no longer using.===============My daughter is going into kindergarten and wears a uniform with navy tights four days a week. The 6 pairs should hopefully last her this whole school year if we wear each pair once a week.The fit is perfect. She has room to grow. She wears 5 in kIds leggings and pants so we got the medium ages 4-6.She commented that the were soft, but the tag itched.Let me know if you have any questionsI will update how long they last.

The colors and patterns are really nice (we didn't get the exact tights pictured but got good comparable patterns). The fit is kind of funny - I would like to see a longer leg and a shorter rise in the waist. What really bummed us out is that the toe and heel are not articulated. I should have noticed this in the product picture but did not, as I ordered a different Angelina tights set a few months ago that DID have the sock-style foot. These are really annoying and uncomfortable for my sensitive kiddo, the seams rub her toes all day.

I was expecting these "winter tights" to be fleece lined, since they showed up in a search specifically for "fleece-lined tights". They are cotton knit tights and as stated with other reviews, are rather larger. I am hoping they shrink some when I wash them. I ordered all 6 in white, which is exactly what I got. I just needed them to be thicker to go under my daughter's school uniforms. If they hold up ok, I may order them again as my daughter loves to wear skirts and dresses and is rather rough on her tights. At $3 per pair, I can't get knit tights cheaper for her.UPDATE 1-12-2015They do not end up fitting her as loose as I initially thought. They have held their shape and not stretched out like other knit tights I have purchased from local stores. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would order more, maybe in different colors.

Where do I start? All I wanted in my pack was navy blue or grey and the rest were going to be "bonus" colors. I received hot pink, light pink, red, brown and two white in my order...of course all colors except the only two I needed lol. That aside, the price was fantastic considering you are getting 6 pairs of tights and they seemed soft and warm. However the light pink pair I received was way larger than the rest even though it was tagged the same size. Also, here's the really bad news...there was a small beetle inside the package of one of the tights *gasp*! I contacted amazon and they immediately took care of the issue. I still gave them 3 stars because it's a great value and they seemed soft and warm, but the sizes tagged incorrectly and beetle are obviously a concern...just make sure if you purchase these tights you inspect them and of course wash them very well...

This is the second time I’ve purchased these tights for my daughter. The first time I ordered them a year ago, they were made with great quality fabric. This time however, 4 of the pairs had tiny holes all over in them and by the end of the day would be huge gaping holes. They also seem to be made with a cheeper fabric that doesn’t seem as thick and warm. Very disappointed with the quality this time!

These work for layering clothing for cold days or winter sports. As well as to accompany a dress/shirt outfit in the winter. They are very thick and warm.They don’t instantly split if she falls on her knees like other brands. My daughter is quite rough and plays super hard. None of these tights have ripped, split or torn.My daughter has very sensitive skin and some tights just don’t work for her. These didn’t bother her skin. She said they are comfortable.These have washed and dried perfectly probably 20+ times and they aren’t fraying or falling apart.

I love the thickness and colorfast elements of these tights! That white stays bright white through multiple washings. We didn't experience any real shrinkage, nothing I noticed. There are holes, however, where my daughter pulled to get these nice fitted tights up, near the upper thigh and such. I should have shown her how to bunch down to the toe, then work the tight up the leg like a very long sock. Then, they would have been easier for her to put on by herself, and we wouldn't have those holes. My fault entirely. These are a great quality set. I am so tired of buying tights that grow dingy, or simply aren't warm enough. These are terrific. Just, please learn from my mistake and get your gir(s) to pull them up the proper way.
