Great Vietnamese coffee
Coffee is hard to write a review on, as everyone has different taste. I personally really like this coffee and it goes really well with condensed milk. I feel like it has its own very distinct taste. I would love to purchase a tiny one cup variety pack of every coffee. This company has just to try them all. Unfortunately it gets a little expensive trying to buy $20 bags for every type. Great coffee though.

So pho king good
I spent 2 weeks in Vietnam in November 2023 and have been yearning for more good robusta since I left Saigon with 5 lbs of coffee as a souvenir. This True Grit is every bit as amazing as anything I got in Hanoi or Saigon and I don't have to fly for 23 hours to get it.All the rumours about robusta being bitter are false if you dial in your brew. This is meant to be brewed fast and strong, like through a phin setup. I ran mine through my espresso machine for a 2:1 shot over 35 seconds at 195° and it was divine. Nutty, dutch chocolate, red raspberries. Kind of like a peanut butter Oreo. I'm a fan for life!

Not Bad But Also Not Great
As a true coffee lover, I dive deep into every cup, and I've got to share my honest experience with this one. I brewed it up in my stylish Fellow Ode and even tried a manual pour-over, but let me tell you – it didn’t quite excite my taste buds the way I hoped. Remember what Ricky Bobby said? "If you're not first, you're last!" Now, I wouldn’t go that far, but this coffee definitely hovers in the middle of the pack.As someone who cherishes my Vietnamese roots, I was rooting for this to impress me! But my passion for coffee and my commitment to delivering genuine reviews forced me to keep it real. The flavor? Well, it fell a bit flat and left me craving more zing and complexity. Sure, I could throw around fancy coffee lingo like "earthy" and "notes of this and that," but let’s be honest – those terms deserve a stellar cup, and this just didn’t deliver. On a bright note, the price is super competitive, and it didn't have that stale taste that sometimes accompanies lower-quality beans. I might just give their darker roasts a shot next time! For this one, though, it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. But stay tuned – coffee adventures continue!

Excellent robusta!
The coffee is a bit on the expensive side, but the flavor and quality are excellent. The robusta beans were roasted to perfection and had a smooth, not bitter taste. I will recommend it and repurchase.

Flavorless
I’m very disappointed by this bag of coffee. For $20 the beans have no aroma and the coffee has no flavor after brewed. I first tried a bag of coffee from this company through a local store and was really impressed by it. So I don’t know if this bag of coffee had just been sitting in a warehouse for a long time and lost all its flavor? Unfortunately, it can’t be returned. If I decide to give this brand another chance, I’ll definitely be sure to purchase it through my neighborhood store even if it costs more.

Tastes weak...
I was super excited to try this brand, but I was disappointed at how weak it tasted. For it being 100% robusta and them advertising it as their strongest coffee it was very weak. I don't know if I ordered the wrong type but this is definitely too weak for my liking when I made vietnamese coffee. Even after "extracting" two "shots" in my phin filter it still tasted too watered down. I'm sure it doesn't compare when it comes to the quality of the beans, but I prefer the taste of cheaper brands like Cafe du Monde and Trung Nguyen.
