Amazing puzzle, ended too soon.
So I got the 500 piece puzzle, and I absolutely loved this. The pieces were large, making them sturdy and difficult to misplace. The colors itself are soothing. At first you almost feel like you're going crazy trying to tell the colors apart, but you sort of adapt and get better at it over time. I was worried at first when some users noted that the pieces were cut imprecisely and there were gaps between the pieces. So whenever I noticed this, I'd question if it was in the right spot, and it WASN'T. So there are no gaps, at least in my case, if the pieces are put in the correct location. I think the people who found gaps put pieces in the wrong spots. It was a fun challenge but I wish that the puzzle had more pieces. I know they have a 1000 piece but I preferred the color of the smaller puzzles. Hopefully they'll make more larger ones soon, I'd definitely be in line to purchase one.

The pink is harder than the yellow
Really enjoyable and challenging puzzle. The yellow end felt easier to us because the colors transitioned only in shade. The pink moves from a warm tone to a cool tone and is much more tricky. It’s not a linear transition so it helps to talk strategy and temper your expectations… you’ll fly through some of the sections if you sort well, and then feel very stuck at other points. The pieces fit absolutely perfectly when they are a match, so it’s easy to tell when you aren’t right. Some delicate corners and nubs, so I can see it not being a puzzle that can be taken apart and done over and over. But who really wants to take it apart after putting in so much work? Took two of us about a month to complete it when we spent about 30 min on it per day, so it made for a nice, extended activity.

Beautiful colors and a high quality puzzle.
It's been a while since I had a place to set up a puzzle and leave it until it is done. This was the first puzzle I picked out when I could.Pros:- Blue is the color that makes me feel relaxed and happy. The (Blue/Green) puzzle is even prettier than it is in the picture.- At first a 500 piece puzzle sounded as though it might be too easy. As soon as I opened the box and looked at that box full of colors I was relieved it didn't have more pieces.- Pieces are well made. Heavy duty. Bright, sharp colors.- All pieces were in good condition. None of mine have any lifting of the edges.Cons:The:- Color gradations are so subtle that it takes effort to sort the pieces. I'm a 'journey not the destination' sort of person, but some might find the subtle color variations frustrating.- Many pieces are appear to be exactly the same, but they are not. If you put two pieces together and there is any wiggle or if you can see any light between the pieces it's not a match.Things that are helping me:- Putting the border together first. This is even more important in gradient puzzles that regular puzzles.- I could tell I was going to be pawing through the boxes a lot looking for pieces. To save wear and tear on the pieces I purchased three 16-inch by 12-inch cookie sheets so I spread out all the pieces.- I've found that looking at the pieces in shadowed natural light helps see the subtle changes in colors. Direct bright light is good for matching the shapes. On average I find about six matches a session. I may be working on the puzzle for the next several years and that makes me happy.

Great puzzle pain and satisfaction
Amazingly difficult to complete. Lots of laughter, threats to give in, walk away, or not leave the table until it's finished (not likely). Great collaboration, and felt so very satisfying just to complete the outer perimeter. Will update the review whenever we get around to finishing it.Good quality pieces. Good color quality, which is important. The red to gold gradient is a helpful hint and you need to be able to tell the nuance between darker and lighter red, or the peachier versus pure gold. The pieces also have high quality cuts and it's pretty easy to tell if you have a real fit or not (verified across young kids and adults).

Fun and Challenging
Love these gradient puzzles! However, my most recent gradient puzzle came unwrapped (no plastic wrap like the others). And I fear this may have been used or damaged. I’m trying to put some pieces together and some of them are not totally aligned. It could be me or it could be swapped pieces. Would recommend IF your puzzle comes sealed to ensure no tampering.

Challenging puzzle
I love color gradients so this was an ideal puzzle for me. Overall, pretty difficult but doable. The color portion was relatively easy but when the color moved more towards the gold it was extremely complicated. You really need to have the right lighting to be able to see the differences in the color.

Easy until it's not
I had the pink to blue puzzle. I assembled the border then pink then purple sections without any problem. The pieces were large, which was interesting. They snapped together well. I loved the variety of piece sizes. Then..... the blue section. Once I got past the initial bit bordering the purple, there was no variety in the color. I checked under every light that I could find (including going outside) and there was no difference. I ended up having to separate them into groups and then do a combo brute force + look at each innie/innie corner (for ex) for one that could fit in the empty space. It was brutal. It also cured me of my desire to do a solid color puzzle.I was buying it as a challenge and it definitely delivered, but yowser.

Pieces are not cut well and blue is solid.
Got this puzzle for myself, thought it would be fun. The pink was fun and easy as you can see the changes in the coloring almost line by line. The blue (which is the more color) is one large area of mostly the same color. I got to the point that I just tried every piece in every spot and found many of the pieces fit in more than one spot! I don't appreciate that element in a puzzle. I usually save my puzzles and do again in 2 or 3 years, not this one, giving it away!
