ATS Acoustic Panel 24x36x2 Inches, Beveled Edge, in Ivory

I have a small 6x6x8 booth in my house. Super bouncy sound. I originally used moving blankets and they were good, but I could still hear some echo. Five of these on the wall and the sound in the room is deep and wonderful! And more than half the price of the “big name” competitor that was recommended. Will buy more for my music studio as well! HIGHLY recommended!

I installed four of these, two on opposite walls in a spare bedroom/drum studio, probably 10 ft by 11 ft. I mounted them sideways with the included hardware, which was extremely easy to do. If I had to judge this items effectiveness, I remember walking into the room when the walls and floor were barren, and simply speaking to the homeowner about the project, my voice was echoing like crazy. After installing these on the walls, it was like the vanta black in the world of sound. I felt like it was robbing the words from my mouth. We also installed two drum sets, some artwork, and four bass traps. My cousin is a very large drummer, wielding sticks that he calls trees. With these traps on the walls, I know for a fact that the sound is way better than if we did not have them at all.

Really work well, deaden the room nicely, I can hear the speakers more. And they are built well, and look nice. One complaint I have is the industrial smell, it's going away, but slowly. I left them out in the sun, and that helped.

Just needing one panel, I didn't think it made sense to look for vendors to sell one panel's material list. If you need several, it might make sense. With that said, ATS did a great job with easy installation instructions and clever hardware. Very pleased with the panel and the echo reduction in my tiny office.

The panels are nice and make a difference in my home studio, but I don't understand why they don't come with the hanging clips installed because it's a total pain to install them evenly. They come with a paper "template" to mark the location of the screws for the hanging clips, but it's not easy to keep things level with a piece of paper that moves!For the price, they should come with the hardware attached or at least with the placement for the screws already marked (like most furniture nowadays). Many of the screws didn't even engage because the back is not hardwood, only the frame is. I'm hoping they won't fall off.

I have an acoustic piano in really too small of a room, which caused too much confusing and loud sound bouncing off the walls. The typical remedial measures (rug, etc.) weren't enough. Several of these acoustic panels, strategically placed, solved my problem. I bought the ivory color and these panels blend into the off-white walls so well that I hardly notice these panels. My office is now a studio!

Go ahead and give these a try. They work well, are built with attention to quality and are worth the money. They took a while to get so if you’re in a hurry, you might want to call them and pay extra for quicker service. I’m just saying. Enjoy.

I read another review that these didn't have a backing, just a frame. Lies, they DO have a wood back and it's even sanded/sealed possibly. Has a great feel. They're professional as hell. I'm so impressed. Already ordered more and I'm an ATS customer for life. I had been researching making my own for months, including the best materials to use. ATS used all the best materials, and made some excellent frames. Did I mention how impressive they are?
