absolutely enjoyed this puzzle except for it has a piece missing. I am the only one handling it and definitely was never there. Wanted to pass it on as a challenge to siblings but cannot.

Great puzzle - good quality Took us a few days to complete - it was fun

I have enjoyed Galison's 500 piece puzzles in the past (fun images, sturdy pieces with good fit, dust not excessive) but this 1000 piece Bethesda Fountain has so many still connected pieces that it is frustrating. Disconnecting the pieces also has to be done carefully to avoid pulling the image paper off the cardboard. That said, the image is lovely, the pieces are a good thickness, there is minimal dust, and it is sufficiently challenging from all the white snow/sky. If having to disconnect the pieces before assembling doesn't irk you as much as it does me, then this is still a good buy.

This was fun to put together because of all the people in it. Was not particularly challenging, takes a bit of time, yet you'te constantly making progress on it. The pieces are glossy and you cannot pick up the puzzle when done - the only downside.
