I have had this since march 2020. It was easy to mount and set up. I have it connected to a smart plug that's set to turn on at dusk. The light is set for motion detection. The majority of the time it only turns on via critter or person movement. There have been a few times it's gone off from those wonderful midwest winds flinging things about but not often.There's a good range on how lights can be angled, both up and down and out to the sides for the outer 2. I came to buy a 2nd one for a different area and stayed to tell you it's been worth every penny and then some.I might try to hardwire the 2nd one in which case you may never hear from me again (I wonder if the neighbors will think I'm cooking on the grill). Regardless, it's bright and long-lasting and I'm glad I bought it and now re-bought it.

I bought this a year ago due to increasing car prowls on my block. There are no street lights so the sidewalk and street gets dark but not anymore because this thing is insanely bright. In addition it covers a large area and excellent at motion detection. These lights have been through heat waves, snow, ice storms and since we live in the Seattle area, frequent rain. These lights still work as well as it did when it came out of the box.I can tell you these lights have made our end of the block safer. As you can see the lights not only cover the entire length of the sidewalk in front of our home but also reaches across the street so it gives some added protection for my neighbors cars as well. My next door neighbor has a Kia and neighbor across the street has a Hyundai. They park near our light and we are certain it thwarted off an attempted theft of each car. We have way more expensive outdoor flood lights that were professionally installed and they did not perform nearly as well as these lights. If you are looking for a really bright light with good coverage and excellent motion detection that doesn't break the bank, look no further.

My garage door opener light has failed, but the opener is working great, so I was looking for a light that would be triggered when my car entered the garage. I tried some motion detection light bulbs in the fixtures, but they wouldn't trigger when I drove in at night because of the car headlights, and weren't adjustable for duration and turned off too soon in most cases.This light set up has worked almost flawlessly. It came with screws for installing in the sheetrock, but I didn't need them because I was able to attach it to a pegboard already on the wall. The light panels move around/swivel enough to allow you to access the attachment holes and can easily be directed up and down. There are 3 rotary switches on the bottom, one for day/night use, one for light duration and one for motion sensitivity. The instructions are pretty minimal, but there really isn't much to figure out. I think it would work well over a workbench because the panels put out a lot of light and are adjustable to light a large area.After a few weeks, it suddenly stayed on all the time, but I unplugged it for a while and adjusted the sensitivity and night switches and now it's working great. It still comes on sometimes during the day, but only when my garage fairly dark because it's cloudy and the sun is on the other side of the house. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another unit for inside use. It does have to be plugged in to an outlet, so if you want to use it on a deck or outside, it's probably best installed in a protected area.

I needed motion sensing light for my barnyard to help keep critters out. This lights the barn yard up like a baseball stadium. I don't even take a flashlight with me when I am locking the animals up just after dark. This does the trick. What I like best is the ability to set it to what works for your situation. It has settings for brightness, motion sensitivity and and light level (how dark before it comes on) as well has being able to angle the motion detector AND the lights to be just where you need the coverage. My hubby screwed it to the outside of our barn and we have it wide angled to the right and to the left and the center of the barnyard is covered as well. This DOES require an electrical outlet and that is what I wanted. My barnyard has quite a few trees around it that prevent a lot of solar activity. I sleep better at night knowing my ducks, chickens, guineas and pigs are safer.

easy to install and works well

We love this light. We placed it in the garage when the garage door opener light no longer functioned. It's bright and turns on as you drive into the garage or walk to your car to get in. The light can be adjusted to stay on a longer or shorter amount of time as desired. Perfect!

I love these lights. I have bought multiple ones to put in different areas of the garage. I love that I can just plug them in and no wiring is required. They work great. Come on quickly and provide lots of light. I have shown friends these lights, and they immediately ordered some for themselves. I had a slight problem with one light (a 2-pack) where one arrived broken. I contacted the Seller, they responded quickly, and quickly provided a replacement. I would not hesitate to buy more of these. They are great and the Seller stands behind their product.

3 Stars. Simple and easy to use at reasonable price.Bought in 2020, just died in 2024 so lifespan was 3 years with daily use. Would have given 1 more star if it had lasted my expected 5 to 10 year lifespan.Would have given 1 more star if it had more features compared to other models.
