I play in a rock band and wanted gold shoes to wear on stage for 4 hours at the most. Even the shoelaces are glimmering and one small red button on each shoe (see photo) controls a variety of solid, flashing, strobing lights or none at all. These are not athletic shoes, the arch support is nonexistent, but the danger lies when I walked off my carpeted floor onto my dry concrete front porch and immediately did the splits and I’m 70 years old, so it was unexpected and dangerous. The problem is the sole (see photos). Walk only on carpetIng, dry grass and thank God our stage had wooden flooring with rugs because an hour earlier at our hotel room, I walked into our bathroom which had beautiful, dry, stone tiling only to be saved by grabbing the sturdy towel racks before I kissed the stone floor. You might buy a Life Alert Necklace first if you plan on jogging or walking on any wet surfaces, I bought them for playing rock and roll on stage and many people loved them and I didn’t even turn the lights on the sole.

The shoes look and feel great. Maybe not as padded and comfy as some similar Reebok’s I purchased a few years ago (not LED of course), but still nice. The LED functionality so far is great. After reading some other reviews I would think it goes without saying but maybe not... dear buyer, don’t expect to have these shoes last if you’re gonna run around a track or go knee deep in the ocean or wear them 24/7 on your hiking trip. These are meant to be a fun novelty item as part of a costume for a party, not an every day thing, unless your normal day is fairly kick back and casual. LEDs are colorful and bright.

These are my second pair. As a performer I use these during the holidays. The charge usually lasts about three hours and you have a choice of a bunch of different color combinations. Be sure not to overcharge these... I ruined one of my first shoes by leaving them on the charger for several days. The instructions say about two hours to recharge but what I did was set up a timer (BN-LINK Smart Digital Countdown Timer with Repeat Function) so that it would charge four four hours then shut off... so far so good.

FINALLY! After two fails from other sellers (listing the size as/for women). Women often know what size to purchase as in men's sizes, NOT the other way around (at least not typically).SIZE is right after MUCH O FRUSTRATION! Getting too small wrong/ladies sizes.Will update if needed but so far happy they'll do as anticipated.Oh yeah, suggest you get a half, or quarter size bigger if you want to fit-in some GEL SOLE INSERTS.

My daughter wanted these. She's in 7th grade. Wipes them down and takes care of them and only turns on the light up feature when not in school. They still came apart on the sole. Peeled away from the shoe. We had to glue them back together. Thats pathetic. I don't expect name brand excellence but I still expect quality. She wants me to purchase a new pair for her but I'd rather let her wear my new Jordan's and Puma's and continue to purchase her better shoes.

These shoes are surprisingly awesome. They are comfortable. Size was exactly what I normally wear. The lights make it look like you're hovering off the floor. The sliver is like chrome. Bought mine for a Halloween costume, so I have not yet worn them for an extended period. The only thing I don't like is that the buttons in each shoe are positioned very near my ankles, so that when I walk my ankles push the buttons, cycling through the color modes with each step, even off and back on. Some buyers may prefer this though.

I ordered these for when Anime Conventions have their RAVE-times again after COVID. and I tried them on when they arrived on time. I usually wear a 9-10 US, but the 10.5 scale was a bit bigger but a lot roomier for the toe area and the 12 button LED press isn't so bad. I have not tested out if they would get damaged upon frequent usage but they are a nice style.So i rebought these shoes and a smaller size, and they feel a lot better now. Great product.

I liked the overall effects and options of lights blinking and enough led’s to give a smoother look. All the colors appeared to be pleasant and right intensity.There was no remote but that keeps it simple and selecting the option and button on the shoe doesn’t change unexpectedly while dancing like my previous shoes.
