My preteen chews on EVERYTHING and has for years. I finally decided to give this product a try. It is a LIFESAVER! My kiddo now chews on these instead of hair, shirts, blankets, or stuffed animals. In the first week, we did have the top third of one of the necklaces break off because of excessive chewing, but I still feel that this is a really durable product. So happy!

I got these for a bit of a different purpose than most reviewers. A couple of my friends used nicotine vapes regularly, and some people often link that habit to having an oral fixation. I got these for them just to try, and they seemed to be pretty occupied by them surprisingly. Obviously since we are adults with much stronger teeth than kids though, they didn’t last long. I’d recommend these for others struggling to break those sort of habits to try out!

It didn’t last long enough for my kid who does have teeth but he did chew on it like a crazy! Otherwise, good concept.

I really wanted these to work for my son, who is autistic and has a strong need to chew for regulation. Unfortunately, the durability just isn’t there for kids who are “XT” level chewers. He wore the necklace to school for the first time today, and his teacher returned it completely split down the middle — chewed straight through in a single day. For light or moderate chewers, these might be fine. But if your child has a strong chew need, this product breaks down way too easily. I’m disappointed because the colors are great and the texture is perfect, but safety and durability are the priority. I’ll be looking for something truly heavy-duty because this did not hold up at all

Given today is only day 1. I’m so glad he has something to chew on besides his finger nails, the back of the remote, water bottles, water bottle tops or anything else he can get his hands on. He says he likes how it feels and he has something he is allowed to chew on. My son is turning 8 and just chews on random things so I’m glad I was able to buy something just for him to chew on.

I purchased these for my son who struggles with anxiety. 2020 has been an especially tough year and I noticed he was biting his lips and fingers basically raw. I use these necklaces to keep him from biting himself and they have been effective. They’re more of a distraction because if he’s chewing the necklace, he can’t chew his fingers. I’m glad I purchased these. They have really helped this year.
