Surprisingly lightweight and beautifully matte
This works great over my makeup. I went hiking yesterday, wore this over a BB cream and was still matte when I got home.In this photo I’m wearing it over foundation. This doesn’t have a white cast for me but I think that could be an issue with deeper skin tones being a zinc oxide based sunscreen, so keep that in mind if you have some melanin and want to stay glowy and not chalky!

The best face sunscreen , no reactions
This review is really late over a year , I bought this over a year ago and I LOVE it!No breakouts no burning, no issues. Now my skin in my 40’s has become extremely dry, thanks Peri. But I just mix some of this powder with my bison tallow cream and boom!💥Instant moisturizing sunscreen. No issues, like with regular and even some mineral sunscreen face products. Please don’t stop making this,I would love if we could buy higher spf, but I just use a hat for now

Love this
I use it on my hairline part. I have black hair and it needs a little rubbing in but it’s not any worse than any dry shampoo. I just use a q-tip to apply it only where I want it and it works fine.I also keep it in a powder case with a puff applicator to wear over my skincare during the day. It has a bit of a white caste after application, but it’s not too noticeable on me since I’m very pale, but should be noted for darker skin tones.I like that it’s a physical sun blocker that I can apply on top of my morning skincare that already includes SPF for extra protection and it doesn’t add a new greasy layer like reapplying sunscreen lotion would. I don’t wear foundation makeup, so I can’t speak to it caking or changing the shade, but I do not feel any caking when I wear it over moisturized skin.

great for acne-prone skin and better than colorescience
I LOVE this powdered sunscreen!! I'm about to throw a whole bunch of ways you can use it at you, so grab that cup of coffee. I promise I am not in any way affiliated with this company! I just think that a quality product should be recognized so we can all benefit. I'm no "gatekeeper" (as the kids call it - lol). I have tried many/every powdered sunscreen because I have acne-prone skin and have generally found that powder is a safer bet. I used Bareminerals loose powder foundation (matte version) for years, but they changed their colors a couple of years ago and maybe the formula a little bit too. Now, even though it is still medium-to-full coverage and has an SPF of 15 (though I realize I should have been using a higher spf all along), all the colors are far too warm for my neutral, very fair skin. I have even tried the the ridiculously expensive Colorescience that has that little brush attached to the end. It's not good, and I'd have to sell a kidney to keep buying it. Out of desperation, this acne-prone gal bit the bullet and decided to try some liquid/cream sunscreens. I have found several that don't break me out, but I find they need something to keep the finish looking good (not super shiny). Using this sunscreen on top leaves my skin looking like velvet, as another reviewer commented. I use this sunscreen over tinted sunscreen (First Aid Beauty's new Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen is liquid-y and feels light but, for a more reasonably-priced and more matte option, try Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face spf 50). I still find both need this powdered sunscreen on top to last longer and look good. Plus, it's so much easier to reapply a powdered sunscreen over makeup than a cream one. If your sunscreen is a bit too warm and/or dark, you can apply this powder over it with a heavier hand/more generously, and it will tone the color beautifully! At the same time, I have to say that this does NOT have that horrible white cast, it's just going to lighten the look of your skin a little bit. If you find it to be too white, mix in some other powder (I sometimes mix it with my leftover Bare Minerals loose powder foundation to make it look less orange). It DOES offer great sun protection, but it's also a cosmetically elegant formula that you can use as a finishing powder or 'freshening' powder, even at night. It will seriously "freshen" your makeup, making it look like you've just applied it. I transferred some into a little jar with a sifter for easy portability and just popped a travel kabuki brush in my purse for easy reapplication at any time of day. Taking care of your skin is truly part of taking care of your health. You will find this to be a pleasure to use. BUY IT :)

White cast
It leaves a white cast. I use it on my face after make up but it’s like I used a white fixing powder and didn’t use a brush afterI use it on my neck as well. It is dry but leaves white cast on the collar of my shirtAlso it’s a nightmare to have it in your personal item/carry-on, they pull it out and test it everytime you’re passing the TSA

Great for touch ups!
I found this product while looking for powder sunscreen alternatives. I used to use the powder sunscreen from Hawaiian tropic, but the brush container would always accidentally open in my purse and spill the powder all over the place and make a mess and that seemed to be a common complaint amongst pretty much all of the other brush applicator powders. When I came across this product, I just intended to bite the bullet and use it as a refill for my Hawaiian tropic brush until I read a review by a woman who said she transferred this product into some makeup compacts she had purchased on Amazon and I thought that was just the most amazing idea. So that’s exactly what I did! Well, not entirely necessary because this powder doesn’t seem to give a white cast, I had some old crumbling powder foundation that I ended up mixing into the powder so now it has a tint. I love that I have a smaller compact that I can just throw into my purse and I don’t have to worry about it exploding all over the place and a larger container for here at home after I’m done applying my make up. Such a great way to combat any midday shininess while also protecting with SPF! I also love that this product was the same price as my Hawaiian tropic sunscreen for nearly 25x more product!!
