Puracy Shampoo and Conditioner Set - Perfect Hair Care with Rosemary Oil for Growth, Gentle Clarifying and Hydrating for Fine, Medium, or Color-Treated Hair

I bought this set because I tend to have reactions to some of the chemicals in "regular" shampoo and conditioner so am looking for an affordable, all-natural option. I can't speak to whether this product solves that problem for me yet. However, I love the feel of both the shampoo and conditioner, and just as the description states, my hair looks cleaner, longer. The shampoo smells amazing, fresh and a bit tingly from the mint. The conditioner does have a bit of a "swampy" smell to it, as other reviews state. However once you rinse it out, it's gone. My hair detangled well, dried well and looks very shiny. I'm buying the refills right away.

I have been looking for a clean shampoo and conditioner for a long time. I have tried several and I came across Puracy. I used it the first time and I loved it. I had to wash rinse and reapply to get a good lather with the shampoo, but it has a nice soft smells (I am really sensitive to smells) and rinsed out well. The conditioner made my hair soft, I could easily comb through it in the shower and didn't lose a bunch of hair from washing like I usually do. It did have a little bit of an off smell (I was worried from the other reviews I read) in the bottle, but it didn't smell bad when I put it in my hair. My 3 year old told me my hair was "so soft!" As of now I am sold!

I want to love these. The shampoo works really well - lathers and cleans nicely. The conditioner just doesn't do enough. My hair ends up kind of dry and not that smooth. So I've been using the shampoo paired with a different conditioner I have. Also, the smell is ok. I am not getting the wet dog smell that others have mentioned - I think it smells fine when I use it. But, it doesn't leave your hair smelling fresh like other shampoos/conditioners. I try to go a few days between washes, but it seems like my hair gets a "dirty" smell to it much quicker than other products.

UPDATE: After going through both the shampoo and conditioner I bought the shampoo refill pouch and have been using it for over a year now, and it’s great! I’ve replaced the conditioner with a different brand - the stink is gone and my hair’s looking a lot bouncier. I wouldn’t recommend the conditioner. Original review: I have fine, slightly dry, wavy, shoulder length hair. This stuff is GREAT for my hair type! I can’t recall the last time my hair looked as shiny and healthy as it has this past week. I’d been considering purchasing this pair for a while but was hesitant since the natural shampoos/conditioners I’ve used previously have been atrocious - either way too stripping and drying or too heavy and oily. However, these products balance my hair nicely. The shampoo lathers up well and the conditioner is exceptionally moisturizing despite being oddly runny and thin. I appreciate having a pump on the bottles, and I like that the plastic’s clear so I can keep track of when I’m running low. Now onto the single downside: the smell. I saw the reviews likening the conditioner to the aroma of “wet dog” and “mildew”, and I thought “pshh those must be exaggerations”, I’m not that picky about haircare scents anyway. Unfortunately they were spot on. The conditioner smells deceivingly fine in the bottle, but something happens when the fragrance is mixed with the humidity of the shower that causes it to exude an incredibly unpleasant scent. I get whiffs as it sits soaking on my hair, and it reeks. Once my hair’s dry the odd stench dissipates and I’m left with fresh smelling hair throughout the day (....or do I simply become acclimated to the odor?) Needless to say, I’d prefer if this came in an “unscented” version since everything else about this product is perfect and I’d rather not walk around wondering whether I stink or not.

This shampoo and conditioner set is a great product. It cleans very well, leaves my fine hair shiny and bouncy. I highly recommend it. I’m pretty confused about people’s reviews about smell. You’d think you’d get dirty shoes in a bottle and people exaggerate so much but that’s not it at all. The conditioner smell is different but it’s only for a second or two and then it goes away. Most importantly, It’s nearly impossible to find a product on Amazon that’s highly rated by skin deep or think dirty as a non toxic, no cancer causing carcinogens or chemicals and this product is at the top of the list. Be safe and buy it.

I didn’t expect to really be impressed by any eco-friendly shampoo. I’ve been a Biolage woman for most of my life, but switched to eco-friendly shampoos about two years ago and have been trying out several. This is the first one that makes my hair feel as good as it did when I used Biolage. In fact, it’s shinier and natural highlights are more visible. The scent is light and reminds me a bit of sage when you’re hiking. It’s an average scent that is similar to what you find in most natural shampoos, and I wish they’d find something a little different. However, my hair looks great, the shampoo scent is fine (just not delicious), and I’m not poisoning our water with a chemical-laden shampoo. Can’t wait to try their body wash.

I love this product! I’ve only used it twice but my shoe is super soft and so shiny! And less frizz! At first I thought the conditioner seemed watery but it works amazingly well and I’m picky about conditioners. I have thinner hair but it’s wavy and needs lots of moisture. This did the trick with weighing it down. Also could brush my hair easily which has been a problem with natural products before. It smells very unisex, spa like. It’s a light clean smell. I’m used to heavy perfumes in products so at first I missed that a little. But this stuff is amazing, the ingredients are clean and it didn’t come packaged in any plastic. Love also that they sell large refills so I can reuses the bottles and pumps. Very pleased with this!

I've been using Puracy cleaning products for a while and decided to order shampoo and conditioner and cant praise enough about how amazing my hair looks and feels! Before I had to use ton of very expensive products for my hair to look good but now I only use this shampoo and conditioner and with simple blow drying my hair looks and feels amazing. No friz or static, so soft to touch and no dry ends which I always had trouble with and had to use special oil. I'm really impressed with all puracy products!

These products have a gentle scent, not harsh or overpowering. They moisturize without coating, and soften without leaving hair limp. After decades of very dry, straw-like hair, Puracy shampoo and conditioner have given my hair life again.

I have combination hair and skin. This leaves my hair very greasy in spots, no matter how thoroughly I wash or rinse it out. Could work well for those with dryer hair/skin. The conditioner smells off. The shampoo smells nice.
