My cat's favoriteMy cat just devours this up and he can be a picky eater. Good quality ingredients and I've compared it to the competition. There are none of the bad ingredients found on the must-to-avoid lists. It's very healthy by all accounts. The price is a bit higher than others but you're paying for quality. Look for periodic sales though.

I’ve opened 3 cans and the product is dry and has a waxy smell. It does not smell like cat food at all. One of my cats is diabetic and I need to avoid as much grain as possible. Both of my cats will not go near this food. I have no idea what the issue is, but they will not even attempt to eat it. I will try to donate this to a shelter.Edit: The company reached out and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they understand this food may not satisfy the appetite of every cat. I’m glad so many cats love this food and can support the Solid Gold products. My two guys, unfortunately have spoken, and you all know how cats can be!

My cats love this food and the coconut oil coats their stomach which helps prevent hairballs.

I've got 3 cats and they all like this.They were sleeping when I opened a can and 4 minutes later they woke up to come investigate. They had their noses up and were sniffing the air, so cute.Normally my cats won't eat anything but fancy feast and I hate the quality of that stuff.One of my cats has IBD and generally upchucks a new food within minutes of eating it. He had no problem with his first try of solid gold.Hopefully we can switch brands.We started with the tuna and sardines, with plans to see if they will like other flavors. Usually new foods go right into the garbage but not today!

My very picky cat loves the food but the quality control is lacking. Sometimes we'll get a really fresh case and sometimes we'll get cans that smell really bad and at one point the inside of the can had mold. It's a nonreturnable item so it's like throwing money away.

My aging cats are pretty much over Friskies, but they love this stuff! They actually clean out their dinner dishes, instead of leaving the rest for the dog!

I do wish it was less expensive
