No, I would not wear there in a shower. The strap is a suede material. They can probably be run through a washing machine. But they will not dry quickly and may deteriorate or lose their attractive appearance if soaked more frequently.

I just received mine two weeks ago, they are size 11 and measures 11-5/8 inches from end to end.
