A great paper pad
No damages. The paper is smooth, cheaper than what is sold at Blick. I’m ready to use this paper!

Great for ink too
I use this paper for coloring with glitter gel pens and it works great. It's a truly white paper (most of the paper I've found for ink is beige which changes the color of the ink I'm using. The paper is thin like copy paper but the ink doesn't bleed through. I will definitely purchase again.

Thin semi-transluscent paper with a nice subtle texture for pencil drawing
Very nice subtle texture for pencil drawing. It is a thin, semi transluscent paper that has a cool, bluish tint (that can easily be removed in Photoshop).

Good paper for inking
Update:After some use, I have to say for the benefit of those who, like me, don't know...this paper is best used on the front facing page only with certain ink/pens. It does not appear to be intended for using both sides of the paper. Hardcore artists might know this, but I bought it for doodling, and my Rhodia pads have no problem with this. However, when I use the back of the page with a fountain pen, it actually makes the pen act like it's dry. This may or may not present an issue with markers or other media, but just a note to make sure everybody knows that you're getting a pad best suited for single page use of the 50 pages. For this reason, the Rhodia 80 page bloc is a better value to me.--------I bought this to compare it to Rhodia and it does compare favorably. Rhodia is a better value in most cases, but I wanted an alternative that I could get fast, and local as well. This is a light paper, with solid performance for fountain pens and dip pens/ink. It does have average show through, but no bleeding thus far, and in my testing of wet fountain pens and India ink dip pens. Smooth, very nice. The only problem I have is that the pages pull off the pad far too easily and when you don't want them to. I'm sticking with Rhodia, but I can't take the rating down based on my own opinions, the paper is a solid 5.

Go-to sketch and concept pads fro pen and ink
I am a professional graphic artist who uses these pads as my 'go to' sketch and illustration pads. The paper is very thin and will work for layover/tracing and they are well resistant to ink saturating through the fiber. The only exception to this that I have found is a sharpie. Other wise, regardless of if it is a Copic marker, a felt pen, or even a brush with ink the paper has stood the test. The price here on amazon (at the time of my purchase) is some 50% cheaper than the sticker price I find at local or online stores. As such, it is a screaming deal. I stock up.This paper is great for quick drawings and sketching for proofs, concepts and process. I use it because it is cheap and easy to work with. For final renderings I always use something heavier.

Good
Been using this brand of marker paper for years. They receive pen and marker well as well as having great erasability for pencils. The top side is smooth and the bottom is a little rougher. Use the smooth side. I've made the mistake of using the bottom and it made everything smear and bleed. The paper is thin but thicker than tracing paper and almost as transparent (about 20% less transparent?) . I use prismacolor and some copic markers for this paper. I actually like this better than the copic papers because they have more standard sizes and cost less while delivering the same performance. I think marker paper is a must if you want to be able to blend colors because the smooth surface is supposed to work with the alcohols in your marker to allow it to absorb slower, dry slower, thus giving more time for the color to be wet and bendable. However the same is true with pens, be careful to wait for ink to dry or else yo risk smearing. The smooth paper allows for crisp lines and blocks of colors without bleeding like Bristol paper. This is like vellum but lest costly so it's good for layouts and tracings.

Works great for most alchohol markers.
I have used just about every brand of marker bond and this is a reliable one. All of the cheap import markers will get a little soupy on marker bond but this one works pretty well. Way better than Windsor & Newton marker bond! Just remember that marker bond is one sided. No marker paper is bleed proof so be sure to protect tabletop.

True as Advertised!
I bought on a whim because this this the first pad of paper I’ve seen called “ marker-paper,” and wanted to see what made it so. I’ve mostly been using Canson mixed-media paper, which is great for other reasons, but I hate the bleed-through effect with Copic/other alcohol-based markers. So: here’s what I learned: no bleed-through (!). Smooth tactile experience. Less ink used. Can actually BLEND colors because they don’t dry immediately. I won’t use for all of my marker-based drawings, but I’m really excited to have found a truly different paper-based experience. I don’t feel like I’m good enough to use this paper yet! Ha. They let me buy it anyway :)
