Very nice weighted rain coat. My dog is 56 pounds and I ordered the XL -it was a little too big so I returned and exchanged for large.

This is an updated review (original review below). Still works OK, but I still wonder why they didn't add a second velcro strap closer to the bag lets. It's usable for us, and saves time drying him after a rainy walk. But if you are shopping, a 2nd strap would help a lot.Just got it so only out-of-the-box comments so far. The product arrived quickly and I'm glad I ordered XXL for our large, 84-pound golden retriever, because it was a snug fit over his head. The raincoat covers his head and body well, but it has only one under-the-waist strap. It starts to slide off his rear end, so It needs a second fastener or strap further back. I'll try to add a second velcro strap. It's lined so it's not too flimsy, but I'd be wary of putting it in a washing machine. One last thing -- how do they get their dogs (in the ads) to look happy? Mine looks puzzled and sad, but I guess ... hope ... he gets used to it!

I went ahead and sized up for my puppy in case of a crazy growth spurt and I’m glad I did! It’s really cute, very thick and great quality. It slips right over the pups head so super easy to use. I also feel like with other raincoats for your pup the leash hole does not size up and if it does it uncovers a lot of the body but the leash hole is perfectly placed and covers their whole body!

This is a bit odd. It covers my dog except for his head - which is kinda the point of a raincoat, yes? There is a "space" for his leash to come through the top of the coat, which looks like a good idea, but it's too small. The strap was way too big for him - not a huge issue for me - I shortened it, but still... Finally, the coat is meant to stay on with elastic bands for his legs. I use them and they do work but they don't look like they are comfortable for him, so I'm still figuring that out. I feel like it was too much re-engineering on my part to make this a viable product. Keep working on it, guys.

Love the product! It is a bit bigger than intended, but I’m fine with it. I have a 2 year old pitbull. The hoodie is a bit small, but it might be because he has a big head lol! It’s reflective, so it’s super useful when walking your dog in the pouring rain and dark. Also, it keeps your dog dry, the only thing is the little hole you put the leash through, that’s the only way the water gets through to the dog.

We have a 55lb McNab and a 50lb Malinois and in XL these fit them great covering all the way to the tail but the chest strap is a bit long. Fortunately the leg straps keep them in place well enough that the loose strap fit isn’t a problem.
