Works like it should and came with gasket as it should.

It was the best value for the money to get this part quickly delivered to my door for install. Timing was everything. Amazon helped make everything easy with a better price than I could pay for anywhere. My car is now running cool and great since the install.

Just did a timing and water pump job on my 275k miles old Sequoia and neglected to do the thermostat. A few days after doing the job the check engine light came on for a coolant temp sensor and likely was the thermostat. Popped open the housing and the seal on the old one was somehow mangled and blocked the coolant from flowing. Looked like a car crash.I bought this and it arrived in a few days and got it changed out in 30 minutes. It appeared to be well engineered to a higher standard and even has the air valve on it and again, comes with a gasket! Just make sure you put that air valve on the top so the air can flow there it so it can bleed the air properly. (This is something most people don't know and is the proper way of installing it)Time will tell the quality of the product but if i can get 80k miles or 10 years (when i gotta do the timing belt job again) out of it I'll be fine.

I replaced the thermostat when I replaced the timing belt. The heater works so good you have to turn on the air conditioner on to cool off after 20 minutes. Yeah, that good!

I have used this same Tstat 3 separate times on my Tundra. It has never failed, but changing the Tstat is part of changing the water pump and timing belt. It is just good insurance to change it during this 90k service. Fits perfectly and operates reliably.
