Great machine.
Does the job very well. I have used it three times on short break holidays. No problem but it does hum and switches off when it reaches temperature then back on so annoying. I bought a USB extension cable for use on holidays so that I can leave it in the en suite at night. The instructions are in Chinese. I used a free online translator which solved the problem.

Guide book is entirely in Chinese. An English translation needed
The 'fridge itself is just what we were looking for but unfortunately assembling it according to instructions was impossible as it was in Chinese. Please send the English translation. Once received we would be happy to write another review. Thanks. H. Lloyd

Impressed, - It's very fit for purpose.
Not cheap to buy, but it's not a gimmick either. This is a perfect example of getting what you pay for. It's well constructed, feels good to handle, has a decent bit of weight to it, a clear display, the buttons work well, the lid magnitises shut quite nicely, it seems well hinged and the cable going to the display in the lid looks well protected as the lid opens/closes. It's very quiet, but in the dead of night, if in the same room you will probably be aware of it's fan cutting in and out once it gets to the set temperature (this is a bit unavoidable at this price point), - you could put it in something like a cupboard, but common sense says to give it reasonable ventilation! (as it does chill by air-flow). It cools and maintains the temperature extremely well. Carry bag fits well, but I doubt it will last (or at least it's carry handle will last) for as long as the device itself will (I could be wrong). There are no pockets or anything for power cords, so you have to find alternitive accomodation for transporting those. It came for me well ahead of estimated delivery date and with a 220v AC 2 pronged transformer plug and a UK adapter which worked fine on testing, but I will mostly just be using it with it's USB lead from a car or a computer. I can get 4 of my insulin pens in, and by removing the lid on another I was able to get a 5th in. There's about 2.5cm to spare in length (my pens are just under 16cm). The battery compartment is "snug" - it took me a few attempts to get the cable routed in alongside the battery, but the rechargable battery won't need to be changed very often so this isn't really a problem. The coloured animation at the top of the display is a bit of a gimmick and just tells you whether the fan inside is currently on or off, - so not much real-world use (a gimmick) but I suppose it does look "ok" and doesn't detract anything from the overall device which looks and functions very well.I put my electronic fridge thermometer inside and powered it up. Started off with both the fridge and my thermometer saying room temperature was 16°C which also agreed with my house thermostat. I set the fridge to it's lowest setting (0°C). After 2 mins the fridge said 12° and my thermometer inside said 15°. 5 mins after power on, fridge said 0°, thermometer said 13°. 20 mins after power on thermometer said 6°. After 45 mins thermometer said 1.6°. At this point I increased the setting to 4°. 10 mins later checked and thermometer said 4.1°, and it maintained this temperature constantly. I set it to 6° and it shortly seemed to sit at 6.4° on my thermometer. Not sure whether it was initially exagerating the rate of cooling or it could well be that my thermometer took a little longer to react. Either way, the device gets to the set temperature in good time, accurately, and it maintains it well.6 page instruction book, but all in full Chinese. My trusty old scanner is no longer supported by Bill Gates, but I was able to (rather astonishingly) take photos of every page on my phone, and then pump them into a Chinese OCR website, and then pump the decoded chinese characters into Google Translate. I can pass this English version on to anyone who can get in touch, but the device is fairly easy to work out. I haven't read them fully yet, but the only important thing so far might be that you can turn it off by holding the power button for a few seconds.Final verdict: - It costs a few quid, but if you need the job doing, this seems to do it quite well, and I would recommend this item over faffing about with cheaper stuff which will probably cost more in the long run.

Not supplied with a UK plug!!!!
The item is well built but it is supplied with a two flat pin plug and NOT a UK plug. I have requested a converter many times with no luck despite being promised one.

An essential device if travelling with cooled medication.
No Instructions provided in English or other language , only Chinese. The unit is well made a would stand being carried around, it came with a carrying case designed for the unit with air vents in the correct places. There is no place in the carry case to store a spare battery or other connectors, use an alternative location. The battery packs were good and the recharged rate is shown on the display panel, care needs to be taken when changing batteries the wired connector is small and has retaining clips. The controls and display screen have good, visibility. Adjusting the setting were trial and error as there were no instructions, but not complex. The cooled storage area will hold 6 Novo disposable rapid insulin injection pens with a space in the box for needles or other small items. The unit when running has a low noise level.I would recommend this unit if you are travelling with cooled medication.
