YakGear TQL1 EZ Loops - Pair

I purchased these because I wanted to use an additional tie down for a paddle board I transport on top of my car and there was absolutely no place on the front of my car to tie anything to. I used them on either side of my hood. These worked great, were very secure, and gave me some extra peace of mind while transporting my board. Exactly what I needed.

We bought these to use as bow and stern strap points for our 2 10ft kayaks that we strap to a 18 Subaru Outback. The straps work great and once I figured out the best place to put them it takes 2 seconds to install/uninstall them. I do wish they were maybe an inch or so longer only due to our trunk door being a thicc boi so only about an 1 - 1 1/2 inch piece sticks out but is totally usable.

As my 2015 jeep renegade does not have a front or back tie down point I have always been nervous about hauling the kayak with out having a bow and stern line hooked up from my car to the kayak. I got these EZ loops to put one under my hood and one in the back hatch. THey are easy to place where you want them and worked great holding the kayak in place. I would strongly recommend these to anyone that does not have good anchor points on there car.

I needed something to help me anchor the straps for my canoe and these do the trick. It would be better if they were just a bit thicker on the piece that goes under the hood - I have to find that "sweet spot" or they slide some. Otherwise, they are well made and do a good job.

Was a last minute purchase that popped up while ordering J craddle roof mount for kayak. So glad I purchased these! Easy to put under hood and in trunk to help tie down kayak for added security. No fideting underneath bottom of vehicle for attachment points!

I use these for the front hood of my subaru to secure the fronts of my two kayaks. Much easier than bending down to secure on the front hooks on the frame. And, the ropes don't rub on the paint. Easy to put on only when I carry the kayaks, and then remove. Well made. Great price.

Purchased two of these two packs to help hold two kayaks down on my car. These easily fit under my hood and another two fit within my hatchback enclosure (2014 Subaru WRX) these are strong straps and priced competitive to the Thule brand.

Clever idea for either hood-mounted or hatch-mounted strap-down point. If you prefer to attach straps to these loops on an angled hatchback door, you may have to use tape to hold them in place (on the sloped opening) until you can close the hatch and secure them. I may even put a bit of velcro on these loops with the mating surface on the car interior to facilitate the temp holding routine.

like the title says, these are just as good as big name brands. I know because I have them for other boats. I have a number of kayaks and canoes... they work well on both a small car and a larger suv.

Great length, they extend further than the Thule and Malone ones I have. Great for under a SUV trunk
