You will need a planner to get the wood the right thicknss
They work great after you get the wood thickness right. I am trying to find out if I can buy just the bits and not the holder.

Don’t waste your money
These bits aren’t worth it. The bits break easily and it’s tough to gauge the correct depth. Take a while to switch out broken bits. Do not recommend.

First off this set doesn't come with and instructions at all. so you'll have to search online how to assemble and use the blade set.

wood thickness needs to be dead on or the beads will be oval
I like this but is it possible to order like 10 cutters of a certian size? what do you do when one size get dull?
