Impressed by such an inexpensive bow
After many years of a hiatus from archery due to a shoulder injury, I decided to give it a go again. I bought this bow simply because of its low price. I did not expect to like it, just as an inexpensive way to see if I could do archery again, plus it met the minimum draw weight requirements for bow hunting in my state.Boy was I surprised. I do like this bow a lot! I found that I was able to shoot my bow again and I did purchase a more expensive and nicer bow. But I prefer using this bow! It has proven itself accurate and more than capable of hunting. I have it paired with 30" 500 spine arrows and 125 grain broadheads, I practice with it regularly out to 30 yards which covers my needs nicely. It has also proven itself in the field, having been used to cleanly harvest 1 deer and 2 feral hogs.

Can't beat it for $45
Bought this bow to dip my toes into archery without breaking the bank.Have been to the range with it twice now and have loosed over 200 arrows from it.Like the title says, you really can't beat it for 45 dollars. It's a solid bow for that price range and functions about as well as one could expect. She shoots straight, as far as I can tell not having shot a bow for over 20 years when I picked this up. With a little time at the range though I was putting arrows relatively on target. I can only assume she would perform much better in a proficient archers hands. Now, does it compare to $150 starter bows? Certainly not. Not even the same universe. But for someone that would like to dip their toes in and not completely drain their wallet or not have to go take some class, I'd say this is just about perfect.Package arrived boxed well with no issues.

Missing Assembly instructions completely
Received new bow and was excited to assemble. It was missing instructions to assemble it. You don't really know what way to put the curve of the bow or mount the sites. I looked at some other similar videos but i can't find anything on Top Archery Recurve assembly instructions. Seems like a solid bow if I can assemble it. Tried using Help button but was pretty useless, its just a automated response system. If I can get instructions I will be returning it. So irritating to be honest.Update, While writing this review I finally found the video under the pictures of the product on Amazons website. I was able to assemble and bow is pretty nice. I just wish they would have included instructions or QR code to video link. You will need to pause the video because he put the arrow rest upside down. It worth the price but minus 1 start for no instructions.

Black Arrow is Born!
toparchery delivered this awesome bow which now completes my origin story. makes it easy to work from the shadows in fighting crime and people that talk smack about archers as superheroes. this bow goes well with my black spandex costume and black arrow insignia. i just hope that people will never ever discover my secret identity since no one reads my Amazon reviews anyway.

Limb split first time I drew it back
I was hoping for this to be a better bow because it looked great when I put it together. Never got to shoot it once, drew it back after stringing it and the lower limb split and failed.

Nice inexpensive bow
At this price point this bow is hard to beat. It is a smooth, comfortable shooting bow. Because I am shooting in a very humid environment I love the fiberglass limbs and aluminum riser. Be aware that if you are going to use the included rest you will have to use adjustable nock arrows. Also know there are no instructions to set up the sights or rest but there are plenty of general tutorials online. Other than that good bow at a good price.

Great bow for the price
Comes with add ons like the bow rest and the sight, make sure you put together correctly. Have rubber knocks it doubles as a finger protector and I shot 31 in arrows with it.

Takes some fiddling, but fantastic value and solid
I just started messing around with archery, had a low poundage recurve I've been practicing with and wanted to try a 40lb. bow without spending a lot. (40 is heavy for a beginner, I'm still getting used to it). Also wanted a center shot so arrow spine wouldn't matter as much. This one is surprisingly solid. Riser is one-piece solid metal (aluminum?) and a bit heavy (but I'm trying to build some muscles so I don't mind). Limbs are fiberglass and some kind of hard resin, fairly thick and seem solid (we'll see). Not laminated, so no fear of it splitting apart unexpectedly. The handle is comfortable rubbery but solid material.String is decent, although a little narrower where the serving is than another 12-strand string I have, so that arrows I had sit a bit loose on the string. It did come with English instructions, well written but very basic. How to string the bow, but nothing for newbies about how to install the rest, sight, or a nock (not included). But you can find that stuff online. The annoying part was that the brush rest it comes with, even when it's set all the way in, still sits left of center by about 3/32". I ended up putting a couple washers under the mounting bracket to center it (see photos). It still took about an hour of fiddling to get it exactly center, but I've got it now and the arrows are now going in the target more or less straight.I'm using some cheap and popular carbon arrows with 500 spine and plastic vanes also from amazon. This thing is still about half the price of any other takedown bow, and surprisingly high quality. 40lb is heavy draw for someone newWish they had the orange one with Prime shipping but there's always spray paint.
