First Daughter

didnt like the movie itself but Like the ability to watch when i want with out having physical dvd taking up space in my house

This is an absolutely beautiful movie. I enjoyed every moment of it. A gentle love story, so well done. I highly recommend this movie.

Good movie

Very fun movie. I loved the acting, the writing it was just very good. I loved everything about this movie. No sex, nudity. There is a bar scene but it's nothing too terrible. The only thing about the DVD is, if you want wide screen you have to turn the disc to the correct side and even then it isn't really wide screen. See my photo. That was as wide screen as we could get.

It made me laugh.

Another viewer stated this was the brain child of Jerry O'Connell and that he narrated the beginning and end. Not True! Read the credits. Forrest Whittaker wrote the screenplay, narrated it beginning and end and also wrote most of the music. I loved that. I really appreciate this great actor and he should get credit and recognition for all of his hard work. This is a great story. Everyone did a great job. It was fun, funny but mostly sweet. A love story between two parents and their daughter, A story about friendships and a coming of age movie too. No sex scenes although the roommate seems to be getting around. Four guys dance around twirking! "Nothing to see there folks". Not sexy! Irritating and immature. Overall I recommend to anyone who likes Michael Keaton, Katie Holms, and Forest Whittaker. :)

Beautiful movie: 1. the acting was great! Katie Holmes, Marc Blucas, Mike Keaten (outstanding, wish Fathers truly took interest in their child) the mother was the perfect wife for the President, as well as a great mother, 2. Mia, Beautiful & talented. Loved her, 3.Secret Service men outstanding. WEll written, with all the perfect touches at just the right places/ Sorry. about the loss of M. Karon. 3. Like Katie I love to dress up, that was my time of life. Ladies were Ladies and always properly Dressed. The Wardrobe was outstanding, I loved the story line, it was such a relief from all the blood & guts we see on TV.Marc Blucas, was just so impressive. I hope to see him in more acting. I''ve seen him in Necessary Roughness. Marc has put on a little weight, different parts require different looks, he's a good actor., M.Keaton, you looked good, just like "Batman"Marc,I will be looking forward to your future, appearances.I can only tell you I bought two copies of First Daughter, and they both came from Amazon. If you need more proof, let me know and I will furnish you with my purchase order number.I watch it at least twice a day,and enjoy every minute of it. of yes, I noticed someone mentioned it was great for maybe a 20 year old, but I am well past 65, and I believe it is for all ages, with good taste, and quality is good for all.Thank you, so much for a calming, classic, story. This movie is about love for a person that you are willing to lose everything that you wanted in order to protect the person that you love. A movie of unselfish devotion.

This was for a friend of mine. When I picked it up after it was delivered I heard the disc rattle, I just thought that it came loose, when I gave it to my friend i explained that it's loose, so when she opened it there was a crack right down the middle and a broken disc she was so not happy.

Is a very sweet movie between the relationship of a US preident and his daughter. Good lesson on comunication, sacrifice and humility with honesty which brings to a good ending. Just like life when we live these principals. The music is fantastic and properly organized. Well acted and directed.

Chick flick

I bought this again because someone borrowed mine and never returned it.Ok it's not going to win an oscar any time soon but it is a cute watch. I loved the concept and the twist which i didn't see coming.I also thought the ending was realistic.

I love this movie, yeah iit's a bit silly but it's a great chick flick, it's super romantic and I always love a different twist on a fairy tale. I'd definitely recommend it.
