Disappointed!
This little gooseneck lamp has a strong spring clamp, but the electric cord is flimsy and a thinner diameter than standard lamp cords. This could result in an increased fire risk and is an unacceptable way to cut production costs. I would have just returned it, as the product page states "Amazon Prime" and "Free Returns," but this proved to be untrue. When I took it to UPS, they scanned the Amazon barcode on my smartphone and informed me that this item does NOT return free (and yes, I had used the new, simplified return method). I had to pay half of the lamp's purchase price just to send it back. This felt dishonest to me and took me from ambivalent to disgusted. If returns are not free on this item, then the product page should not state that they are. I suggest a different seller.

WEAK and FLIMSY
Lamp sags any time you try turning it upward or try to point it horizontally. Points down due to its own weight. Trash. And the clamp is small and slips off of anything you clamp it to. DO NOT BUY

Really good for an area light.
I like this gooseneck flex light because I can light the entire room with 1 LED bulb. Great for smaller projects when you need to move the light source.
