Leslie Dame Mission Multimedia DVD/CD Storage Cabinet with Sliding Glass Doors, Espresso

Great cabinet. I don't think it's real wood, but they did a very good job of approximating it to a point where you'd have to look very closely to see, it even has wood grain. I bought the espresso color, but it's almost black, much darker than I was expecting, but still looks good. Assembly is tricky with one person but I pulled it off, it would be easier to have a 2nd person help out, it's very solid once put together.I only had one problem, the backer was slightly to large for the frame so I had to sand it down, normally I'd knock off a star, but in this case, I thought the finished product was good enough, plus it was easy enough to resolve, plus the quality was much better than I expected given the priceAs an added plus, the doors are fairly easy to remove, so easy to do when you're loading a bunch of CD's / DVDS, or reorganizing. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and I'll likely repurchase the same type when I fill it up.

This media cabinet is a beautiful cabinet. It is not hardwood, so for the price do not expect hardwood. It is however very well made and all of the parts fit very well. It's fairly easy to assemble, has good instructions, just time-consuming. It took me about three hours to assemble, but I also used wood glue on the wooden "mating" pegs that come with the unit to add stability. The only miner drawback I found: the doors come with two (hanging) rollers on top and two guides on the bottom, these rollers and guides are pre-drilled with FOUR screw holes on each. However the doors themselves only come with TWO pre-drilled holes. It seems to me that if the rollers and guides come with four screw holes it's because they are designed to work best with four screws. That being said, I would have thought the doors would have come with FOUR, not two, pre-drilled holes for each roller and guide, and of course enough screws. Otherwise, we're very happy with it, it looks very nice and we feel it's worth the price!

I read other reviews because I am not a fan of furniture that is not solid wood simply because it isn't sturdy enough or good quality. If you plan on moving you can expect it to have damage for certain. I honestly needed a CD/DVD/VCR cabinet so bad I overlooked the high price hoping it would fit the bill and truly impress me as other reviews stated. It is perfect for storage of CD/DVD/VCR and very versatile. However, I am extremely disappointed in the quality. Although better quality than most furniture built of press-board I believe it to be too way overpriced for the quality. Definitely will be challenging when moving it. Quite flimsy.

Really like this cabinet but not sure how they got 336 on the dvd storage if u have standard movie cases it will hold 300 if u cram 25 on a shelf but hard to get them back out. The directions weren't very detailed but easy to figure out if stare at the pictures and you definitely need 2 people to put it together. Very sturdy and looks great! Definitely want to get another one!

Assembly started with exceptionally good quality materials, fasteners and a simple but perfectly sufficient graphic instruction sheet (1, one-sided!). It went together in a little over an hour, but despite considerable experience assembling furniture, I was being very careful because it is a beautiful piece of furniture. Although it is heavy, if you leave the doors and shelves off until you situate it where you want, one person can lift it and move it. The double layer packaging does exactly what it was designed for - protecting the contents. I will buy from this dealer and this manufacturer again.

Very solid, with a high quality look. We bought two to hold all of our disks. Assembly was easy once you learned what goes where. The only instructions are in the form of an exploded diagram. No awkward text to try to decipher. Actually, the diagram is all you need. Note that having a screw gun with a small phillips attachment will save you a lot of time, as much of the assembly involves screwing little screws into wood. Everything is pulled together by screw-bolts which seem solid enough.The wood is quite heavy. Glass came undamaged. One of our top shelves was dented from shipping, but as we didn't actually assemble these until three months after we received them, we did not try to get a replacement.The finished shelves look great, and their solid construction tells me that they should hold up pretty well in moving, unlike most particle-board cheapie shelves you find these days.

Super nice and VERY well made. Mostly real wood and what little isn't is still of high quality. This is not "Sauder" crap. I bought this unit as a replacement for one I paid significantly more for from Home Depot and it is SO MUCH BETTER. Construction is easy as long as you can deal with IKEA like assembly. Packed very well in 2 boxes and yet I still had some damage though luckily it was all on the back. I really cant stress enough how nice the quality of this is compared to everything else ive seen for media centers out there. The seller was very slow in getting this out, backordered, and could have been more communicative. I always got an answer from their customer service but did have to contact them several times regarding the delays, there was never any "pre-emptive" contact from them. In the end it was worth waiting for.

This is a great looking and very functional media cabinet. I have three of them, one holding movies, one holding video games, and one music cds. Shelves fit tight to use every inch of space and the sliding doors are smooth rolling. Also the colour Espresso is exactly the same on all three no difference in shade. The material is not flimsy these cabinets are heavy once assembled.
