what's the best way to make this coffee? I like it but it loses flavor in regular coffee maker

I have a Bunn coffee maker and it is brewed faster then a regular coffee maker and I do not loose any flavor. If this is your 1st time drinking the coffee it is mild and no bitter taste. Just like cold brew coffee.

At 2 tablespoons per cup (0.36 oz) it will make about 50 cups. More if you like a weak brew and less if you like it strong.

I recently bought a package of Douwe Egbert Aroma Rood, but was surprised when it arrived as a solid brick. What am I supposed to do with the brick?

The "brick" is just vacuum packed finely ground coffee. I would suggest having an airtight container available to pour it into, then store it in a cool place just like any other coffee.
