Elegant and Functional Embroidery Hoop
I recently purchased the Prymm 4-inch beech wood gold screw clasp embroidery hoop, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with its quality and design. The combination of the beech wood hoop and the gold screw clasp gives it an elegant and stylish look that sets it apart from traditional embroidery hoops. The beech wood used in the hoop is of excellent quality, smooth, and sturdy, providing a stable base for my embroidery projects. The gold screw clasp not only adds a touch of luxury but also ensures that the fabric remains taut and secure while stitching, making it easy to achieve precise and even stitches. The 4-inch size is perfect for smaller projects or working on detailed embroidery designs. The hoop is lightweight, making it comfortable to hold for extended periods without causing hand fatigue. The smooth finish of the wood also prevents snagging or damaging the fabric, which is crucial for delicate embroidery work.Overall, I highly recommend the Prym 4-inch beech wood gold screw clasp embroidery hoop to any embroidery enthusiast looking for a high-quality, stylish, and functional hoop for their projects. It has quickly become a staple in my embroidery toolkit, and I look forward to using it for many more projects in the future.

Perfect
Perfect size and is better than the cheap ones you buy at Walmart or Micheal. Holds the fabric down nicely and is durable. Also easy to use. Thick wood to keep the fabric from moving.

Works well as a frame for needle felting project, nicely made
Used to "frame" a needle felted painting. Beautiful wood and holds tight to project.

check your sizes
Great hoop. Solid construction, very nice screw clasp, comfortable to hold and very reasonably priced. I will buy more. Just beware - the sizes are way off. I bought the "approximately 9 inch" hoop and it measures out at 10.25.'' It was almost too big to fit my project.

Beautiful quality
The media could not be loaded. Purchased hoop sizes No. 1, 4, and 7. I believe these are legitimately Nurge brand hoops based off the branding is engraved onto the hoops. The tags state they are Prym; but, I believe Prym is now Nurge.I upgraded my embroidery hoops from the cheap bamboo hoops from Michael’s to these and they make a world of a difference. Less slip since there are hardly any gaps. The wood is sturdy so I feel confident they won’t warp or snap. The gold hardware is strong and pleasing to look at. The screw is easy to twist tight with a flathead. The screw also has a lot of room if you’d like to wrap your hoops with bias binding tape.I would likely purchase more in-between sizes (and maybe the thicker 16mm hoops) in the future but these three sizes are sufficient for what I need right now.

I do recommend this brand of embroidery hoops
I think these are well made. I took the plunge and also bought Hardwicke Manor brand hoops. I can't find a whole lot of difference between the two besides price. Nurge being equally well made and a lot less expensive. I did notice the HM hoop has a smoother finish, a more rounded edge. The hardware on both is very nice. Nurge has very distinctive hardware on their brand. Would give Nurge five stars if their finish was more smooth but there is no difference in performance and what they are made to do. I like them both and would buy Nurge brand again.
