I bought this book for my boyfriend's Mom for Mother's Day. She loves everything that has to do with London and frequently has tea parties for her friends. She loved this book. I scanned though it before giving it to her. They had a lot of great pics and interesting info. Definitely worth the money. She was so interested in the book she hardly noticed the expensive piece of Lenox I bought her as well...lol !

If you can't get to London, this is the next best thing. Settle in and lose yourself in the beautiful photographs. Makes a lovely gift, too.

If you are planning a trip to London this IS THE BOOK to use to plan for a Tea Time. It is beautifully photographed and detailed. Only sad thing the recipes promised in the index was a total of 5. Wish there were more. Vibrate guide book or just fun to read and dream.

This book whisks the reader into the world of London's most elegant locations for tea. After reading it, I wanted to make airline reservations to Heathrow to have tea in person!

There seems to be very little difference at the top of London's high tea world. Beautiful pictures – all pretty similar – the text could have easily been interchanged without much impact.

I thought from the description that this was actually more of a cookbook/recipe book, but instead I got a tour of London's tea rooms. The book includes 1 - 2 page descriptions with small pictures of each tea room they selected, but doesn't go into detail of what is served or anything - which would have been a nice bonus. There are only a few recipes and not good ones at that. I promptly sent it back. I suppose it would be handy if you were actually gong to London and wanted to visit some of these places, but let's face it, you can probably find them all on Google with unbiased reviews.

This book is ideal for travelers to London who are looking for venues for Afternoon Tea! Very informative and interesting.

Lovely book all my Angophile friends want one too. Great pictures and a variety of "TEA" styles and locations hosting tea with tea fancies in the London area. Making notes for my next trip to London town.

I was expecting a larger book with a more in depth history of tea and perhaps reasons for the emergence of tea rooms. There were very few recipes. I was expecting at least 2 from each tea room included in the book. Overall, it was just a glorified multi-paged advertisement for tea rooms in London. I would not recommend this book unless one is proposing to "do London by tea rooms". The photos were good though!

My daughter and I have found this both enjoyable and interesting. We have had a good time investigating the various places in the book and even tried out the recipes!

This book is an absolute gem. It has a wealth of information about having a treat of afternoon tea across London.

Good reference book. Good visuals and references to places to go and have a high tea in London and enjoy
