Good/mixed reaction
Addendum: around black Friday 2019 these went on sale for abt 70 bucks. I picked up 2 more. Can't beat that deal! Make sure to p/u extra batts! The good: Small, light, & easy to use for medium size hands (or small). Takes practice (turning on quickly, if needed), like anything, to get a feel for it. I have it on a Rem RP9. Great for low light/night situations. Looks pretty, if that's a factor for you.The not-so-good: Can't see the green dot in daylight at an outdoor range even at 10 yards, so it was tough to site in. But does anyone make a brighter laser? I'll prolly put one on each of my guns.I'd buy again. Fast shipping too. 120-ish dollars. Prices seem to be going down.

about 50% failure rate on the sale items
I really like these and got them at a great price just before Christmas at under $80, but everyone that I ordered(3 seperate orders) failed on first delivery and had to be replaced. Two failed the same way, they would go off and on while shooting. The third flashed at about 2-3hz making it very distracting. I returned them all to Amazon and got two replaced the third I had to take a refund on as they had run out of units by then. The replacements worked fine. I did call the company to get their take and they sent me some rubber grommets to stuff in the springs but it took two weeks and Amazon only took a few days to get replacements. The grommet didn't fix the third one so it got returned for full refund. The only other issue I had with these is holsters. Once I put this unit on a gun I could not find anyone that makes a holster for any of my guns that fits and had to get someone to make me one turning this into a very expensive option.

Pretty decent, but wait for a sale.
Unless you really, really want this thing wait for the price to come down. I got it around xmas for significantly less than what it is being sold for now.It is very bright. It was fairly easy to attach and adjust. I have it on an HK P30S. It is so small that I did not even have to change holsters.Strangely, there is no recoil rating - not on the box, not in the instructions. I contacted customer service and they told me it was tested up through 10mm. That should be good enough for most semis.

Simple to install. Brighter than a red laser (to my eye). Worth every penny.NEW REVIEW - 01/26/17 - Green is still brighter than red, BUT after the first 100 rounds, through a KEL-TEC PMR-30 22 Mag pistol, the sight began to shut down intermittently for no reason. Now, after a few rounds, it shuts down after EACH round. That's a big, big no-no.Now it looks like I'll have to swallow the cost and buy a new Crimson Trace or Viridian. Stay away from LaserMax!!

Four Stars
Not the best fit, but that seems to be at least as much the pistol's problem as the laser's.

Failed after ~200 9mm rounds. Turns off after shot.
Pro: Very small. The short length is ideal when using a pistol wedge grip (forefinger wraps around finger guard). Good retention of zero.Con: Failed. As others have mentioned, the laser would turn off after a shot and occasionally spontaneously go back on again. If left on for several minutes the laser will start to flicker (unit has a 10-minute auto off). The unit worked fine for a couple hundred or so 9mm rounds then rapid failure onset.I have previously purchased small lasers pointers (Beileshi, Truglo Micro-TAC) with the same failure mode. I used a Crimson Trace CMR-206 for several years and it worked perfectly – this unit was just not short enough to accommodate my new wrap-around grip style.

Fit's Perfectly on a Boberg 9mm Pistol
The "biggest" laser competitor's product was to long to fit on the short rail of a Boberg Arms 9mm "long" conceal/carry pistol, but this lightweight laser fit perfectly, looks great, and the green laser work's well in the distances you expect for a conceal/carry weapon. The product was well packaged and arrived when promised.
