Just buy it! Great game!
We have been having so much fun with this game! Games are short, so we’ll play 3-10 or however many we feel like at the time. It’s very unique with gameplay you don’t typically see, highly strategic, and super easy to learn. Anyone can pick this game up and start playing immediately. You just learn more strategy and tricks the more you play. This is def a WIN purchase. 10/10 would buy again. If you’re a lover of family games like me, this is a must add to any collection. Highly recommend.

Easy to learn, hard to master!
This is an excellent strategy game for two or four players that you can learn all of the rules of in less than five minutes. The strategic element, however, can take forever. The goal is simple - get your pawn to the other side of the board, which starts off empty. On your turn you can make one of two moves - either move your pawn one square adjacent, or put down one of your ten fences. The fences are impassable, and you place them to hinder your opponent's progress. The only rule about placement is that you cannot make it COMPLETELY impossible for your opponent (or yourself) to get to the other side. Backtrack the entire way? Go for it! I have only two complaints, neither of which are severe enough to lower this to a four-star ratings. The first is that the pawns are slightly too big, or the board is slightly too small. Because there are notches cut into the board to place the fences in, and the pawns are exactly the size of the space they sit on, it's very easy to knock them around when you're trying to place a fence. The other is that the board could have been better designed to accomodate four players. The gameplay has no issue with four players, and is loads of chaotic fun. There's just no storage space for the 3rd and 4th player to hold their fences, but it's not a big deal, you can just hold them in your hand or on the table. It just seems odd that the game designer built spots for two players to hold fences but not for four. Either way, this is a fantastic game that can be played in under ten minutes with a depth of strategy and simple rules. I highly recommend it.

So deceptive and pretty great
Very well boxed and well made, nice to have something that isnt all plastic. Now the gameplay, the rule are simple then you play and quickly realize there is a lot of strategy. For two players, its quite intuitive how you will get caught after a few rounds of play. With 4 players....it's just hard to wrap your mind around and this is a good thing. It has gotten very competitive with the family and you just never know who's going to win...frankly, or who even has the advantage. Tons of fun!

Your new favorite game
We’ve been playing a lot lol every new game you learn a new do or don’t and it’s fun because it’s a simple premise but gets very complicated as you go in an interesting way. If you enjoy strategy games or puzzles or just a simpler and more fun form of chess with only one pawn and very few rules this is the game for you. The fences(walls) add such a cool element to a simple objective and learning to use them both offensively and defensively is the joy. It’s great, get it.

Fun game for 2 people to play in a shorter amount of time. Strategy keeps you coming back.
I played this game a number of years ago at my sisters house and liked it so much I wanted my own. Some games last too long or get old after playing them for a while. This does not. It is a nice addition to mix things up in your board game collection. After you think you can beat anyone at it, their strategy can have you rework your own strategy to win. It can be played with 4 people as well but I have not tried it that way yet. As far as the board and pieces themselves, they are made of wood. Solid stuff. Would be a great gift item for someone that likes strategy games but doesn't like to get too in-depth with something. Most games take maybe 15-20 minutes to play, depending on how quickly you make your next move. If someone has to think about all the options in a game like this for every move, might take longer. I am excited to try their other similiar games.
