Perfect replacement for Otdair daisy chain solar light battery
Given another reviewer’s comment about thinking this would be a good replacement for the Otdair 4 light daisy chain solar lights, I thought I would give it a try. It worked out perfectly for me. The voltage was right, but there are a couple of things to note. You will need to be able to solder two very small delicate wires. In my case, rather than clipping off the connector on the new battery and fighting with the short length of the attached wires, I simply clipped out the old bad battery out of the solar unit and installed the corresponding receiving connector for that which is on the battery and simply clicked the new battery on. Now in the future changing batteries will be much easier. Amazon sells the matching mini connectors if you don’t have your own. Now this next part is very important to note - the positive and negative from the battery into the attached connector are reversed from how the Otdair light I have was wired, so pay particular attention to this when soldering in your mini connector and how the battery connects. Other than that, the replacement has been up and running fantastically for well over a month now. Oh and also, if you go through the trouble of replacing the battery, don’t forget to fix the issue that caused the failure in the first place ( my case leaked around the screw holes ) . Seal all screw holes and the where the sides cone together with silicone before reinstalling!

Never worked more than 2 minutes!. I bought extra batteries for my kids Christmas gift. Immediately requested the return. I received a defective product, now they pretend I paid the shipping. Is it a waste of money or a scam?

Wires Too Short
Appeared to be a perfect replacement for the battery pack in the solar panel of Otdair Solar Spotlights, until I tried to install, and found the wires to be 2.5” instead of the 5” in the pack that I need to replace. No way to make it work. Tolerances are too tight.
