Diamine 80ml Sherwood Green fountain pen ink bottle

This is one of the richest colors of green I’ve ever seen. It is my go-to color for journaling, and I’ve already had to refill my pen twice. This is such a great buy for the bottle size and price as well. Diamine inks are quality. This one is an excellent choice!

This ink is exactly what I wanted! Sherwood green is a very dark green (almost black), this gives it the distinctive signature look I was looking for. It writes very smooth and doesn't blot through my pages with the pen I'm using. Absolutely will be buying more ink from this company!

I purchased this for both writing and drawing. It does not disappoint. It flows beautifully without clogging or skipping, even in the very inexpensive pen I tried it out with. On printer paper it is surprisingly water and smear resistant, but on a multi-media paper it blends and flows wonderfully! I love hiking, landscape sketching and journaling, and I can't wait to take this ink on the road. Edited to add: this ink is NOT waterproof, but on certain very absorbent papers, it will not wash completely away.

My first impression is that the bottle is sturdy and BIG!!! This ink will last a long time. The second impression, which is even more important, is that the ink has a good flow and color, is not opaque like India Ink, nor too watery. It is just the right consistency for writing with a fountain pen. This brand of ink comes in many other colors, so pick your favorite or two, and have no worry that the ink will be too dense or watery. It dries quickly on the paper, and has a very nice look. I am very pleased with this ink. :-D

I love this ink. I love dark greens and was not disappointed at all. It dries quickly and I haven't even had bleeding issues on a Staples steno pad. It just writes and writes and I don't know if it's the pen or the ink or both, but I've gone through much, much less than another of my pens and brand of ink. This bottle will last me a very, very long time at this rate. My first experience with Diamene but won't be my last. I'm buying Oxblood and Imperial Purple next :)

This is my 3rd bottle of Diamine ink. I'm in love with this stuff. The color is amazing and even with an extra fine nib this still looks amazing. I currently have it loaded in a Jinhao 51A and love the way it preforms in this pen. The green is a deep Forest green color that looks amazing on even real cheap lined notebook paper. Put this down on better quality paper and you will be amazed at the depth of this ink. No bleeding or feathering even on cheap stuff. Dries quick enough but be warned this is not waterproof. I use this ink to journal and it really just make me happy when I write with it. I will be getting more Diamine inks as they never fail to put out a quality ink.

Beautiful ink, flows great, has a pretty long cap off time compared to other inks I've used for my pens. 100% will be buying more Diamine ink in the future

I like the color of green. But, for some reason, in most of my fountain pens, like my Pilot Metropolitan, it stops flowing after a couple sentences. It works fine my my Scheaffer pen, which runs really wet anyway.

I was looking for a unique shade of emerald green ink and this is a perfect match. There’s nothing quite like having an ink jar on your desk, especially when it’s contents are of such high quality. I’ve been writing in ink all my life, so trust me when I say if you’re a stationary nerd you need this in your life. The color is deep green and pigmented, yet incredibly flowy and not scratchy at all. I wrote most of the page with my fountain pen (using an ink converter btw) but added a line with my paint brushes (lower line is the kind of opacity you get with one stroke, upper line is the amount of opacity you get with 2 strokes). Would definitely buy again.

Reading some of the reviews it appears that a number of these have arrived broken. Mine did not. It is the first time I have used green ink in a long time and this ink is really nice. It is dark, which I like and looks good on the page, it flows nicely out of the nib and dries fairly quickly which is a bonus. Overall very happy. Just need a couple more pens to use it all now.
