This works, but it's not a "magic bullet"
Just bought and used this in a large and relatively live room. The room was designed, and loudspeakers were placed overhead (14-foot ceilings) such that events would take place where there were NO speakers directly overhead.Management decided to locate the participants in an event directly under some speakers. The DF1000 actually did its job well. But you need to understand that this won't get rid of all feedback. I was able to get (guessing) about 5db greater volume, and that was perfect for our needs. It is really set-and-forget for a particular event. Connect between mixer and power amp. No knobs. Just 3 buttons: Power, Reset, and Active. Turn the device on, press Reset. Then turn the mikes on, volume set to just below feedback, and press Active. At least that's what I did. This has 2 channels. For this event I needed only one.I then regulated the volume as I saw fit during the event. So, five stars with an asterisk. This will not solve your feedback problems in all cases. But used judiciously. it's great.

Noise suppression works, but poor design makes this fall out of an audio rack
I used this device on one gig, and twice in the course of four hours it popped out of my audio rack. It is poorly designed—it is too deep and the back is too heavy, and it will not stay installed on a rack. The feedback suppression function seems to work fine. I didn't hear any feedback on the gig. However, due to its poor design (bizarrely large and heavy, with a lot of weight at the back of the unit), it cannot reliably stay installed to my audio rack. For context, I have three other items on the rack: a 24 channel Soundcraft mixer, a 4 channel IEM transmitter, and a power conditioner. None of those items ever pop out of the rack. So the design flaw is unique to this unit.I cannot recommend this device for live sound where you're transporting an audio rack from one gig to the next. The unit is very likely to fall off the rack due to its design.

It does what I need
For the price, this piece so far the best I’ve seen that can quickly eliminate the feedback. I am constantly using 4-6 microphones every weekend and it works great so far. By the way, I bought two of them, one for home use and one for weekend gig.
