As a huge Disney Parks fan I loved this book. The writing is enjoyable and easy to read. I felt honoured to be reading such personal, behind-the-scenes stories from an imagineer. The stories are just fantastic to read about and I felt a whole new connection to some of my favourite rides thanks to this book. Would highly recommend for a Disney parks fan.

My daughter really wants to read this but having dyslexia and irlene syndrome this print size makes it impossible. Dissapointed that kindle version not available in the UK.

This is a fantastic read, full of humour, what a career this guy had! Tells his whole story from a lowly start, a real inspirational story of hard work and determination. I’d say he was very lucky, but you make your own luck and it starts with hard work!

My favorite realm of the Disney company has to be the parks, for that reason I found this book so interesting! I loved reading about Kevin's journey from working in the parks to creating new experiences in them. I also loved reading about different histories or ideas that rides had before they came to fruition. Hearing about Carland versus Carsland was so interesting and I can't wait to share that information with my dad! Such a fun and interesting read for any Disney parks fan.

This is BY FAR one of the best books written on/by a Disney Imagineer that I’ve ever read (and I’ve read quite a few of them). Kevin Rafferty’s style of writing is so honest, humble, positive, and humorous. The book reads as if you’re sitting and chatting with a friend who is reminiscing about 40 years worth of Disney stories and anecdotes- and it’s such an enjoyable conversation that you’re almost sad for it to end. A MUST read for any true Disneyphile or fan of the Disney Parks and their more contemporary history. Loved it!!!

Best Imagineering book ever written! Such clever, fun writing and so many true stories that I have never read before. It is nice to read about the career of an artist that is still alive to tell his own adventures! I can easily see how this man, with his great story telling talent, was such a great Disney Imagineer!
