U-POL Products Gravitex Plus and Raptor Spray Gun (UPL-UP0726)

Used this product to spray paint a chassis and I am satisfied with the results.

It’s good but need bigger air compressor for using

I cleaned and taped my whole truck up which took hours. Then right as I was assembling this gun to start spraying, the suction tube broke as I hand tightened it! Given my truck was taped I had to bike to the nearest hardware store to find a solution. That tube is 10mm which makes finding a replacement hard. I ended up having to re-tap new threads on the existing tube. That tube is also already too short to reach the bottom of the u-pol bottles and the break just made that worse. I ended up cutting the bottle open to hand paint the remaining product. What a nightmare.

I used this sprayer to apply Raptor Liner to my new front bumper. The spray pattern was consistent and cleanup was easy. I plan to use it to apply bulk Fluid Film to the underside of my 4Runner instead of the smaller rattle can application. Overall, great product for the price.

I’m glad I bought this when applying Raptor Liner to the lower portion of my old truck. Be sure to run acetone through this to clear the product out of the gun between uses. I didn’t do that and the output amounted to only dribbles by the time I wax ready for the third coat. Raptor Liner will start curing in the gun between coat application times and could affect your finish texture.
