Latency and Internet Speeds Improved!
Great purchase! Very happy with the performance of this module. Has somehow improved latency with stability connecting to my router with no heat issues and an increase of bandwidth in my internet connection. A cheap upgrade with compatibility extending further than Cisco branded equipment as I am currently using a generic POE switch with noticeable improvements over my previous patched setup.

This sfp+ module is a good choice for people buying the Gigaplus switches and numerous small switches and routers.

Works exactly as advertised. Easy to install and provides an extra RJ45 port for my ER-X SFP.

They just work.
I used these to electrically isolate the ethernet cat6 line going outside in case of a lightening strike. Instead of a ethernet surge suppressor, I installed a short 3 ft length of fiber optic cable. They worked perfectly and we can't even tell they're in the line.

Works at the 1.25gb speed only. Great price.
Works well, although like another reviewer mentioned it won't work/negotiate at a lower 100mb speed. Using it in a trendnet 2.5gb switch.

Perfect for Roger's cable internet. You could use a sfp+ port to get higher speeds into your network. Most rj45 ports are one gigabit. These adapter allows uo to 10gbe speeds. The speed is usually maxed out via Roger's at 2.5 gbe symmetrical.

Producto de muy buena calidad, desde mi punto de vista no le pide nada a ningún otro fabricante. Cumple con los estándares mencionados. Lo tengo funcionando en 2 escenarios. Fortigate a Cisco y el otro de Cisco a Cisco.
