Great book but not on Kindle.
Wonderful book. Pictures are amazing. Story is captivating. Kindle is not the right platform. We bought the hardback. Really worth it to see the bigger pictures.

I love this book.
The illustrator is gifted - Jazmin really looks alive. You look at her being despondent, or angry, or jubilant, and you can feel what she's feeling. There's an energy in these pictures that perfectly matches the sound pictures created with the text - the bang boom CRASH of the thunder, and later, of Jazmin's marching the rain out of the street (even the weeds came out!) so she can have her parade after all. Any library would be enriched by this book.

My five-year-old loves this story and wants to hear it again and again. I also use it in my classroom in a personal narrative unit. It's great for learning from a mentor author because there are many elaboration techniques used that are accessible to first graders.

Great book
My son loves this book (age 3) and I love reading it to him. Which is nice, because I end up reading it about 6 times a day. Fun story with a great lesson.
