The love of my new-to-mommyhood life
I have an incredibly cuddly baby who is just a few months old and I love the bonding opportunity the Moby gives us! This is the perfect accessory for parents who want to get a little grocery shopping or housework done but like to keep their little one close. Learning to tie the Moby is a breeze. I'd recommend looking at a photographic tutorial rather than reading one... It's much easier than it sounds! The baby is genuinely very secure. I started wearing our little girl when she was only a couple of weeks old. Having tried a sling carrier and a Moby, I feel there is NO comparison to how secure and confident I feel with my daughter in the Moby carrier. It's portable! So easy to fold (or let's be honest... wad up) the Moby and toss it in the diaper bag before heading out for the day. To be so long, it's surprisingly compact. Anybody can use it. Since it's just a long, stretchy cloth, my husband and I can easily share the amazing experience of doing every day life with our sweet girl coming along for the ride. There are no irritating sizes to sort through or buckles to figure out. It's a one size fits all cuddling system ;) Look up the health benefits of "baby-wearing" as well... Our little girl has been an absolute dream when it comes to fussiness and sleeping at night, and I have to say that I think the skin on skin contact during the day has heavily contributed to her sweet disposition!

Love the material
I read most of the reviews before I purchased this product. After using the wrap several times for my 2 month old, I rate it 5 stars. I love the material, it is easy to use, comfortable, and my baby likes it. Before I bought it, I was using a Baby Bjorn - but it only offers 2 carry positions for my little one, and she is too small for one of them. I also had been using an Infantino sling (hated it, hated it, hated it). I was looking for something that gave me more body surface contact with my baby and offered more positions, and was comfortable to wear. The Moby wrap fulfills all of these needs for me. I think it is way more comfortable than my Baby Bjorn - although it does take slightly longer to assemble. I have to disagree with people who thought that it is hard to use - just read the first two pages of the instruction manual - the rest is pretty instinctual. Once you have the basic wrap pattern down, you can figure out tons of ways to use it for your baby. I haven't washed it yet, and I am a little nervous about how it will retain its color and shape when I do. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope to be using this product for a long time to come!

The ABSOLUTE BEST wrap - just watch a demo video on YouTube and you'll see how easy it is to actually use
I was a little intimidated by the long piece of fabric but I just went on YouTube and searched "Moby Wrap" to find a demo video and I realized just how easy this is to use (there are lots of videos to be found!) I have been using this since my son was born (he's nine months old now) and I absolutely love it. I have used it walking around the city (we live in NYC), in the airport, and even just around the house when he's having a fussy day. I love that I can tie it on before I go out to it's ready to go - this eliminates the worry of the fabric touching a diry floor or the ground outside. It holds him secure, which is more than I can say for other carriers. It can be a little warm but I just dress him based on what the weather is outside. If I'm tucking his arms in, I just put a little beenie on him and no jacket. If I'm going to leave his arms out (now that he's older, it gives him a little more freedom to look around) I'll put a light hoodie on him. As long as you keep in mind the body heat factor, you should not have any issues with your little one overheating. This this has been washed so many times and it holds up extremely well. If I've used a lot, I'll wash it just to shink it a bit, since it can get a little stretched out. This is by far, one of the absolute best baby items I have purchased. I can't say enough great things about it. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Must have for babies!
I started using my Moby Wrap about 2 weeks after my son was born. I am not sure why I didn't start using it sooner! My son liked to be held a lot and in order to get things done around the house, I started wrapping him up against me. He would sleep or just look around whatever we were doing. I started wearing him out more, too. It was great to wear him while going for a walk or even in the grocery store. I didn't have to worry about him crying for me from his car seat in the cart. Plus, I felt better about having him right against me. This way I could really look around at stuff and I didn't have to worry about strangers trying to touch him. And what baby doesn't love close contact with their parents? I wore him in just about every configuration there is and he did great in it for over a year. The wrap is very easy to use once you get it on once or twice. It holds up great, even after extended use. While I would use a ring sling for very quick trips, it was nice to have this for extended trips or walks because of the even weight distribution on your shoulders, especially when they get to be about 25+ pounds. Plus, there are no straps to adjust for people of differing height and weight to wear the baby, so it's easy for your spouse to use (or any other caregiver). I love the Moby Wrap so much that I bought a second one in a different color when my son was about 9 months old, just to switch it up :) They are both in great shape that I will be using them with my second child on the way. This time I will start using it even sooner.

LOVE IT! (but NOT in the Summer!)
I love this carrier! It does take practice to get it just right for you and your baby, but it is SURPRISINGLY EASY to wrap. Only took me once to learn how to do it. very versitile and VERY comfortable on my bad back! My daughter (2 mos. old now) has acid reflux, so she LOVED being upright in this carrier, and snuggled chest to chest close to Mama. Made those long nights of carrying her around while she cried, MUCH easier! This is my 4th child, and I've never had a carrier that baby could be THIS snuggly, close and secure in!! I absolutely love it, and so does she. Here's my ONE complaint. -- I had a summer baby and the Moby was TOO HOT to wear much! Especially outside! It doesn't help that my baby happens to be a little heat box anyway, even when NOT in the Moby. I have been looking forward to cooler weather so that I can use it more often! I imagine baby and I are gonna LOVE the warmth of snuggling in the Moby this winter! Helpful Tip -- When you are going out with baby in the car, and you want to put him/her in the Moby when you get to your destination... put Moby on BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE. That way, you aren't standing in a parking lot getting the Moby all dirty while you try to put it on (it's VERY long and hits the ground as you're wrapping it, but NOT once it's wrapped). I found this to be a very easy solution. I could take baby right out of the carseat and pop her in the Moby and go. This is an item not many people in my area of the country have seen. I've never seen another mom with one. I get a lot of looks and questions about it. Once, while wearing her all hidden inside it at an Asian buffet, the Manager kept watching me, with a troubled expression on his face, until he finally figured out it was a baby. I think he either thought that I was smuggling food out, or that I had a dog in there! LOL. It's definitely a conversation starter!

Perfect for plus size mamas!
This is a LIFE SAVER! My daughter loves to be held close but unfortunately, sometimes I just need to use my hand. This makes it simple to go about doing things I need to do, without feeling like I'm not getting enough cuddle time with my baby. The fabric has just enough stretch to it to be comfortable and breathable but sturdy enough to trust my newborn to it. I love that I was able to use this product even though I'm a plus size gal.

wife loved it
My wife bought this with our first baby. She loved it. Easy instructions to use, very sturdy, easy to wash. We ended up giving it away, and repurchased with our second baby 3 years later. It allows for different carrying types, and how sturdy or loose you want baby to be held. It also allows for nursing access.
