It works very well and can be taken off from most things without damaging or leaving a sticky mess.
I used it for sealing a window air conditioner. It works well for many things and can be later taken off without damaging. I highly prefer it to duct tape or masking tape for many uses. I don’t know why it’s not normally found in hardware stores. I’ve been aware of it for years because it’s common use by studio photographers. I gave it 5 stars on every feature but must say that there are some materials where the adhesion isn’t perfectly strong. Still though it’s a very versatile and useful product.

Works great
I use this on a cross country and track trip to keep my chords taped to my seat so that I didn’t have a mess on my hands. I typed a few other things on that trip as well, but I wanted to make sure I was respectful of the property and didn’t leave any stickiness behind and this tape was perfect for that now I use it at home on my hardwood floors when I need to tape my workout floor ladder down for safely practicing indoors

Did not stick well
As an artist, I've used gaffers tape to cover the sides of my paintings for over 20 years and never had the problem I did with this tape. Within two weeks, it was coming loose and falling off. I have paintings that I taped 20 years ago and it's still in place so was really disappointed with this.

Great as safety aide in a busy home and disabled man getting things caught in the wheels.
This tape keeps cords from being trip hazards and keep the house organized. 4 power recliners with cell phones, tablet along with pc’s and me getting catching wire to n wheelchair.

Best for short term use (1-2 days)
It works, it’s not the cloth-feeling type though it’s a bit more plastic feeling and it doesn’t stay stuck over time. So for a removable tape like taping cords down and being able to pull them up after the event/photoshoot/etc. it’s probably a decent option without destroying the surface (although it did pull a tiny bit of paint off a wall when I removed one piece). For something you need to last a few days or weeks though it will start peeling up. This was indoors, with air conditioning running so not a high humidity situation or anything, and a different brand I had used for the same project (the black tape in my pic) did not peel up during this time.

Decent Gaffer Tape but not my favorite
While I needed WHITE gaffer tape specifically for the holiday decorating season and this certainly fit that bill, I was generally underwhelmed by this brand mostly due to its terrible performance in humid conditions. Absolutely do not expect this to stick to any surface when relative humidity is over 60%....it will curl and pull itself right away from the surface regardless of how solidly it was held or pressed into place. That said, this did far better than I ever expected on a last minute Christmas light project where I was very limited as to what sort of hanging apparatus or adhesive materials I could employ to hold in place a very thin fairy LED style light string that had to wrap repeatedly in concentric circles with a spacing at 3 inch intervals spanning 8.5 feet top to bottom X 24 inche square support columns (4 in total). These columns are comprised of exceedingly dense & virtually impenetrable man-made hybrid cement & wood composite board that lacks texture aside from a bit of orange peel or surface stippling in the exterior grade semi-gloss white latex trim paint used on them. Where 3M double-sided outdoor rated tape failed to hold up under genuinely lightweight use, this Gaffer Tape oddly worked significantly better....it resisted wind and rain to my surprise given that it WON'T STICK TO ANYTHING INCLUDING ITSELF IN HUMID CONDITIONS! If you are fortunate enough to be working in lower humidity levels at time of application, then it will tend to stay in place (though the corners do try to curl away from the surface the more humidity levels rise & remain high for sustained time frames. It seemed to be less fussy about operating temperatures that might otherwise be considered to be in extreme ranges....one thing to note, I did attempt to employ a variable temp heat gun to warm the adhesive to create a more tacky surface in hopes of overcoming the high humidity failure, but this had little to no appreciable effect....in fact, more times than I care to recall the addition of heat simply made the Gaffer Tape more droopy & awkward to handle with this tape most often curling over partially or completely adhering to itself in a manner that resisted all attempts at pulling the tape apart--leaving no choice but to just discard the uselessly glued together pieces. So ....I has merit, but it's not on par with the processional Gaff tape we used at Showco & Vari-Lite Intl when we were the Live Audio Reinforcement & custom lighting solutions vendors hired to setup & tear down stage ð equipment when on both nationwide & international tours for artists ranging from Alanis Morissette & Smashing Pumpkins to Patti Labelle, Eric Clapton and even Madonna. Perhaps I'm too picky but I've been fortunate enough to work with the best quality & most expensive stuff available, so I must review accordingly.

I’ve only had the chance to use it once, but the product is working fine for our needs in our RV!

I have used this kind of tape my entire life for taping down wires. The only thing is I never like the look of black on my white floor so when I saw this I was intrigued. When I got it, the thing couldn't stick to anything and I mean anything.

Perfect tape to secure my large paper backdrops to delicate flooring without leaving a residue. Price point and speedy delivery sold me on these. Thank you.

When one thinks of tape, and all of it's multiple uses, it still all boils down to one thing. To stick to things. Why a company would sell a taspe incapable of sticking to things is beyond me but here we are. I have tried sticking this crap to multiple surfaces and it has failed at all of them. Total waste of money
