Q: Will they ger;minate?

They will germinate. I used an inoculant and they sprouted in 4 days. They need warm soil.

Q: Are these lima beans?

No. They are not Lima beans. They are a special greek bean. Larger and thicker than Lima beans. Totally different texture and flavor.

Q: Thanks for info but how long do they Cook and soak for?

I make a soup or stew with them. I soak them overnight and cook for two -three hours, some people cook them longer. Another way is to boil them for an hour then let them sit for 5 hours, then cook for two -three hours or longer. Also, I'll change out the water a couple of times when boiling. I also make extra and put in the refrigerator over night; they become creamier the next day.
